Finally an app for the Girls Girl!

I was skeptical when I first heard of this app. I was in one of the various “are we dating the same guy?” Facebook pages and someone recommended it. I tried it out when u got frustrated with beyond making a post anonymously not being able to comment on others posts with revealing your identity. So I was shocked to report everything this app claims to be is truly what it is! You can’t screenshot! No one can find your identity and it’s opened a space for women (some who typically would never have shared anything like this due to the horrific circumstances they’ve endured) to not only post looking for tea or red flags for a new love venture but a place to post men from either current or past relationships with abusive, narcissistic, unfaithful, dishonest, or criminal men. As a way to way others to steer clear of these men as to prevent another women from becoming their next victim! I initially was concerned it would turn into A high school mean girls situation and could get ugly fast. However I was happy to see women uplifting others and not character assassinating men out of jealousy or spite. I feel in this digital dating era an app like this has been long overdue and as such women have used it as a safety tool not a gossip platform! Kudos to the strong brave women who embarked on creating this safe space and I can’t wait to see height where yall take this too!

Sooooooooodisappointed ,

Really disappointed in their lack of customer service

I have had an account on the tea app for maybe a year. I really liked where it was going and felt like, even though it was young, they were doing a great job. Obviously we were all shocked by the data leak and all of the details surrounding it but that’s not what this post is about.

They offer certain features for anyone with an account. If you do not have a subscription then your usage of these features is limited per month. That makes total sense to me. I noticed in July that when I went to use one of these features they said I had used it all up for the month and it would be available again on August 6th. That wasn’t true but I thought maybe I’m mistaken. I tried again sometime in the second week of August, after the 6th, and it said I had used up all of my free uses for the month and it wouldn’t be available again until September 9th. Now I’m absolutely positive that is incorrect. I emailed the support email notifying them of this issue and have checked in regularly, not wanting my issue to get buried. I have received no response.

Overall I’m super disappointed. Although, last time I was on, the girls were all being super catty and thirsting over the men being posted asking for his @ or whatever which is so weird. Maybe y’all let the men win after all and this app won’t ever become what I know myself and so many other women had hoped for and desperately needed.

Here’s The Tea ☕️

The Tea app has the potential to be a truly helpful tool in the dating world, especially when it’s used for the right reasons. When used responsibly, Tea can help women avoid potentially harmful situations whether it’s with someone who’s emotionally manipulative, dishonest, or in more serious cases, abusive. One way I’ve seen it’s been useful is when women unknowingly discover they’ve been sexually involved with the same man. It’s not about drama, it’s more or so about health and safety. If someone is being sexually active with multiple partners and not being transparent, that’s a serious concern. This app can help women prevent a protect themselves physically and emotionally.

That said, the app loses its value when it’s misused for petty call-outs, revenge posts, or dragging someone over situations that could have been resolved privately. There’s a difference between holding someone accountable and using a public platform to shame people for personal gain. Like any tool, its power lies in how it’s used. If people approach it with honesty and integrity, Tea can genuinely protect women and create a stronger sense of community, accountability, and awareness in the dating world. I say keep it and just add better restrictions for those who use it for the wrong reasons.
