* Add run opengl tests featureMichal Klocek2025-05-301-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | On Woa cross compile we want to compile with opengl feature, however tests windows arm nodes do not have opengl installed add a feature to skip the tests preventing the crash otherwise. Note this is just temporary workaround and should be reverted as soon as opengl libs land on windows arm vm nodes. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | That's what asan reported for a run of this test executable. Create `ctx` on the stack instead of the heap to fix the leaks. For `fbo`, use a std::optional. After these fixes, the test still leaks 64 bytes in 2 allocations. These seem to be QOpenGLSharedResourceGuards in a QOpenGLFramebufferObject. Created QTBUG-134557 to track the issue. * Fix painting clipping glitches with fractional scalingEirik Aavitsland2022-03-021-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In QPainter, clipping can only be done on whole pixels. The various ways of specifying a clipping rectangle to the QPainter API have been inconsistent in how fractional rectangles (either specified directly, or as a result of fractional scaling) are mapped (rounded) to integer coordinates. Also, the mappings have not made sure to keep the edge-to-edge property of clip rects under scaling. This is particularly important when scaling QRegions with multiple rects, as QRegion is designed on the assumption that an area can be described as a set of edge-to-edge rects. The fix rounds a clip rect identically with a fill rect. (Indeed, a followup plan would be to merge QRasterPaintEngine's toNormalizedFillRect() with the rectangle rounding function in this commit). Notably, a QRectF clip is now interpreted the same as a QPainterPath clip describing the same area. * Introduce platform API abstraction for QOpenGLContextTor Arne Vestbø2020-07-021-25/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The API is available by including qopenglcontext.h as usual, but scoped in the QPlatformInterface namespace. The namespace exposes platform specific type-safe interfaces that provide: a) Factory functions for adopting native contexts, e.g. QCocoaGLContext::fromNative(nsContext, shareContext); b) Access to underlying native handles, e.g. openGLContext->platformInterface<QCocoaGLContext>->nativeContext() c) Platform specific functionality, e.g. static QWGLContext::openGLModuleHandle() openGLContext->platformInterface<QEGLContext>->doSomething(); The platform interfaces live close to the classes they extend, removing the need for complex indirection and plumbing, and avoids kitchen-sink modules and APIs such as the extras modules, QPlatformFunctions, or QPlatformNativeInterface. In the case of QOpenGLContext these platform APIs are backed by the platform plugin, so dynamic_cast is used to ensure the platform plugin supports the requested interface, but this is and implementation detail. The interface APIs are agnostic to where the implementation lives, while still being available to the user as part of the APIs they extend/augment. The documentation will be restored when the dust settles. Task-number: QTBUG-80233 Change-Id: Iac612403383991c4b24064332542a6e4bcbb3293 Reviewed-by: Friedemann Kleint <[email protected]>

* Move versioned OpenGL functions from QtGui to QtOpenGLJohan Klokkhammer Helsing2020-04-161-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The context—which lives in QtGui—now knows nothing about versioned functions. This changes the public API for getting version functions for a context. [ChangeLog][QtGui][OpenGL] QOpenGLContext::versionFunctions() has been removed. QOpenGLVersionFunctionsFactory::get() from the QtOpenGL module should be used instead. Previously one would call context->versionFunctions<QOpenGLFunctions_4_0_Core>(); Which now becomes QOpenGLVersionFunctionsFactory::get<QOpenGLFunctions_4_0_Core>(context); The rest of the API should be identical. Since glgen no longer compiles, and the links to its input (gl.spec and gl.tm) are dead, I've edited the previously generated files manually. If glgen is fixed, it should be quite easy to make it generate the new way. This patch makes sure to clear the value of qgl_current_fbo when bindDefault() is called. It is cleared, and not set to point to another object because the default platform OpenGL FBO is not backed by a QOpenGLFramebufferObject.
