Anyone else feel like it would be great if Gen2 dataflows could have a SharePoint list destination?

Sometimes I need to take data from SQL or another SharePoint list, combine it together and then get it back to SharePoint. Dataflows would be great for this, but there's no way currently to get the data into SharePoint (online) from a Gen2 dataflow--at least that I know of. Has anyone else done this without Power Automate?
