Handlestory :
I watched the 1991 movie "Life Stinks" and just loved the idea of the main-character (played by Mel Brooks) getting this nickname by accident.

Trivia :
In 2001, I developed a method for calculating an RGB version of the C64 color palette that looked more realistic than the options available at the time. I shared the math involved on my website, along with an email from Bob Yannes. He is the inventor of the SID and took part in designing the VIC II chip.

In 2016, I expanded upon this work by creating a web app at www.colodore.com which allows users to adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of the palette without adding a tint, as one would do on a real CRT monitor.
