Berlin Bio Innovation Day: Driving Collaboration in Life Sciences 👏 On September 23rd, Nucleate Germany, in collaboration with the Clinical Incubator of the Berlin Institute of Health in der Charité, hosted the Berlin Bio Innovation Day, bringing together over 250 stakeholders from the Biotech and TechBio community, including founders, investors, lawyers, regulatory experts, and policymakers. The morning featured an intensive founder bootcamp with legal guidance from experts and one-on-one sessions with venture capitalists, providing start-ups with direct feedback and investment insights. Beyond the structured program, the event offered excellent networking opportunities, enabling engagement across the Berlin life sciences ecosystem in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The highlight: start-up pitches. Blueprint Biomed was represented by Aarón Xerach Herrera Martín, who presented the company’s vision for advancing bone regeneration. Aaron also serves as Co-Managing Director at Nucleate Germany, linking innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment across Europe’s life sciences landscape. The event once again showcased the strength of collaboration in Berlin’s biotech ecosystem. The Science & Startups team of Hydro-Berlin combines deep expertise in hydrogeology, sustainability, and digital transformation. With their project ENOLA, they’re addressing one of the most urgent challenges of our time: securing water resources in a climate-stressed world. From groundwater lows to flood events – Hydro Berlin is working on smart, data-driven solutions for the future of water. “Hydro Berlin combines deep scientific expertise with real-world impact. 🏆 Honored to share that Blueprint Biomed placed 3rd in the third and last phase of the Science4Life e.V. Venture Cup 2025, the largest business plan competition in Germany for Life Sciences, Chemistry, and Energy. This year the competition was extremely high, with other 94 applicants. This was an excellent opportunity to stress-test our business model. After taking home the idea and concept phase, this was the last step.
