Wraithstone

Wraithstones are an item in Doom: The Dark Ages. Introduced in the Ancestral Forge, they are one of the three currencies (along with gold and rubies) used to purchase upgrades at Sentinel shrines.
Wraithstones are used to purchase the final upgrade tier for each weapon. Unlike gold and rubies, they cannot be earned by completing challenges, and can only be acquired from statues.
There are no "surplus" wraithstones in the game, unlike the other currencies. A player who wishes to acquire every possible upgrade must keep an eye out for secret areas that may reward them with wraithstones.
