2025-03-12pg_rewind: Add dbname to primary_conninfo when using --write-recovery-conf.Masahiko Sawada
This commit enhances pg_rewind's --write-recovery-conf option to include the dbname in the generated primary_conninfo value when specified in the --source-server option. With this modification, the rewound server can connect to the primary server without manual configuration file modifications when sync_replication_slots is enabled. 2024-03-21Allow dbname to be written as part of connstring via pg_basebackup's -R option.Amit Kapila
Commit cca97ce6a665 allowed dbname in pg_basebackup connstring and in this commit we allow it to be written in postgresql.auto.conf when -R option is used. The database name in the connection string will be used by the logical replication slot synchronization on standby. The dbname will be recorded only if specified explicitly in the connection string or environment variable. Masahiko Sawada hasn't reviewed the code in detail but endorsed the idea. 2022-09-20Harmonize more parameter names in bulk.Peter Geoghegan
Make sure that function declarations use names that exactly match the corresponding names from function definitions in optimizer, parser, utility, libpq, and "commands" code, as well as in remaining library code. Do the same for all code related to frontend programs (with the exception of pg_dump/pg_dumpall related code). Like other recent commits that cleaned up function parameter names, this commit was written with help from clang-tidy. Later commits will handle ecpg and pg_dump/pg_dumpall.
