Thank you for the PR. I spent some time thinking about this today and after playing with a few other versions I think that the best way to generate RSS feed is to stick to Hugo's default... by default. This PR will be mentioned in the upcoming release. Thank you for your contribution! 🙇 |

For my website, the posts' full content was not being picked up by Inoreader (an RSS reader), and it looks like the correct tag is
<content:encoded>and not<content>(relevant section on the RSS standard website). There have also been some changes in the template in hugo upstream since this template was added to this repository, so synced with those as well.(Fair warning that this could still potentially break something for someone, as RSS seems to be pretty much the wild west when it comes to specification.)
