This was fun to play, honestly quite impressive! Just wish there was more to it! Had trouble seeing the items on the ground, maybe they could be a bit bigger for visibility. But nice job with it :)

Really cool and fun concept, great effort with it! The music was great and sound effects were fun! Had a lot of the same issues as others in the comments but I still had a great time playing this game, 3D in 2 colours is no easy feat and you did well with it!

I was worried the foreground / background items will be blend together too much with only 2 colors :D

Feels a bit broken, but props for aiming high and attempting a doom clone from scratch in 7 days! Ended up just hopping around the map. Very cool!

Look up some 3D fps controllers, if you make some action game in 2D, most of the stuff will be more or less the same but with more 3D stuff

As for materials: enemies / pickup items / decorations are set to  billboard in material settings.

WOW!! THIS WAS COOL! I did get stuck in the walls a few times and I did end up jumping over some areas, but other than that, I think this was neat :)

Ever since seeing the game on discord i considered you such a madlad for remaking doom and god daamn you did a good job. It really feels like doom. So consider my surprise when i found that you can jump haha. I see in other comments you mentioned that you just forgot to comment it out tho so i wont comment on it too much. The only thing thats sad is that it feels like you didn't have much time to build actual levels. The current and only level feels barebones and the enemies just kinda run into the wall. Despite that i still think it a pretty awesome achievment to be able to make this in such a short time. Impressive!

The behavior of the enemies broke bsically at the end of the development and they started running into the walls. I'm not sure what's causing that but it was a bit awkard :D

I think I wasted a bit too much time with the shader stuff, since Godot distorted some texture colors even when nothing should have caused that and I had to post-process to make sure there are only 2 colors. Also spent too much time around the method of building the level, should have just kept it as simple as I could.

Cool game! The artstyle was very interesting, especially seeing what you could pull off with only two colours in 3D. I only realised the pun in the name halfway through lmao. Gameplay wise, I feel like it was pretty easy. Like, I'm pretty sure I beat the game? From what I could see, there was a big arena with a bunch of loot scattered around the edge but no enemies. Definitely more action would be nice, I only killed about seven of those laughing flowers before there were none left. Overall well done!

P.s. that laugh will haunt me in my dreams. It would be hilarious to swap it out with the "HEE HEE HEE HAW" from clash royale haha

There was supposed to be a "big" flower in the arena you can kill.

Based on other comments I'm 100% sure I uploaded a version just a bit older than the one I wanted :D

Since eg. jumping should be disabled. That's my bad.

i loved the art and area design, and i thought the mutated plants looked really cool. my only suggestion is to reduce the jump a little, since the player gets stuck in the ceiling and can sometimes access the outside of the level

I think I even commented out the jump code...but now I think I only wanted to do it. I myself got stuck many times during playtesting.

I was anxiously awaiting your entry when I first saw you share it in Discord, and it lived up to the hype! Classic FPS mixed with deadly plant vibes. I did notice that I was able to get out of bounds a few times, but I made the best of it by enjoying the sights from up high. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

Although it's pretty unfinished. My game got a bit messed up near the deadline and was in the state of "nothing working well enough, too many things yet to implement" xd

The out of bounds / stuck problem is something I noticed too, didn't have time to try and fix it.
