Interesting gameplay, I haven't seen this spin on a classic match game before, it's cool to try out. The bug that pulled me out of the gameplay the most was the softlock on clicking the lotus when there are no flowers to bloom. Aside from that, it is very fun to play. The sound effects fit well and are well balanced, the art is cute and keeps its simplistic style well. The UI is clear and well laid out, and the colour matches well. With a bit more polish and development I think this would do well as a casual match-3 game.
Gr8 puzzle game, really like it. The music was calming and the lotus mechanic was engaging. I had a personal issue distinguishing between seed types was hard for me, maybe itâs because of the contrast of the colors, but that didnât effect gameplay that much, nice stuff.
I love match 3 games so this was a no brainer choice for me to play :D
At first it was a bit confusing because I think there is a bug that prevents me from swapping sometimes. In one play, I can swap - swap - ... without any problem until it's game over, in another play, at some point, the game glitches out and no matter what or how I click, nothing happens.
Also sometimes felt like there were not enough choice to swap or none which blocked me. I've never done a match 3 game - although I should - so I don't know what algorithms are there for generating pieces but that could use a little bit of polish.
Otherwise the game is a perfect little match 3 puzzle ^^
Music is great and art looks lovely.
This is a nice twist on a match-3 game. The UI and polish are pretty good here, and the music is great. I think a high score mechanism is important to get in there, because these are essentially high score chasing games. I think the âcurrently selectedâ indicator could be a little clearer, and a way to unselect would be nice. Minor stuff, though.
I did run into a game ending bug, and separately maybe an oversight.
Bug - if you click on the lotus when there are no matches, you can no longer move any tiles
Oversight? - if seeds spawn into a 3 in a row situation, they donât grow, and therefore canât be bloomed. This is what originally led me to find the bug, but I donât think itâs related per se.

Really nice game. I think the art could use a bit more polishing, but the lotus mechanic really made it feel different to all the other match 3s Iâve played in the past. I did get a bug after a while that crashed by game, but until then, I was having a lot of fun. Good work!

Thanks for letting me know about the bug, I've been trying to squash the thing but I think the code needs a proper refactor for that to happen. I definitely agree about the art but since this was my first time actually making any art for a videogame/any pixel art at all i'm still pretty proud of it haha
I liked the concept and your visuals. I thought the audio was very relaxing and perfectly matched, too. I think I ran into a bug where I wasn't able to make any swaps after scoring during one of my rounds—the grid wouldn't show up after selecting a seed for me to swap. I had fun playing though—thanks for making and sharing your game!

Oops! It feels like a state machine issue. Do you use any async code/await statements in the part of your code that handles showing the grid and then picking a tile to swap with? I commonly make bugs similar to this in my own games and they are almost always are due to how Iâm doing async things.
Super nice and simple concept executed very well! I love candy crush type games and could play them forever! I do believe there is one bug though where the seeds can already spawn in a 3 long row and they wont grow. Overall well done!
I quite enjoyed the gameplay idea of trying to get as many matches as possible while being mindful of a timer that could lose you the game. That, in addition to the diagonal tile movements, set this apart from many other Bejewelled-style games. If there was some form of extra mechanic to keep in mind that would drive you into being quick outside of the lotus-loop, this could be a very interesting game. Good work!
I really like this submission, the art is very cute especially in combination with those animations. I found it a bit confusing at first that when I combined three, clicked the flower and the new spawned combined with surrounding once a new streak of three, that those wouldnât count, little hard to explain XD… The music creates the right atmosphere and I think the sound design is very well too, good job!

I found a bug: if you just click on the score button, even if you haven't made any combinations, you will sometimes get a +1 score.

very nice and relaxing game. it took me a second to realise i could merge the plants which looked like grass too but fun and nice way to build up score/combo tension with the lotus timer. only thing Id say is that sometimes my game would spawn with 3 plants in a row to begin with which i couldnt merge so maybe a check for that state after each semi reset?

Very pleasant and chill game, with a nice little way to add tension using the lotus. It lacks a gripping factor, as itâs a very simple game at its core, but itâs very chill and cozy to play.
