How does the game fit the theme?
The element of risk in our game is deciding whether or not to leave the house. If you choose to leave, you won't get a biscuit, but if you stay, you risk getting caught and losing items.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

cute game, great art, good take on the theme. My only nitpick is that it was a bit unclear where the exit was once i picked up the diamonds and other stuff
Good game.
Thanks for the feedback!
Very good game. The art, soundtrack, and gameplay are all very well done and creatively implemented. My only gripe is that the game is a little bit too easy, but I might just not understand the health system. I enjoyed it.
I don't know how much you played, but they game gets harder every time! To a point where every room spawns with a guard, dog or camera
I thoroughly enjoyed playing your game. It was polished and well thought out with a good core game loop and replayablility. I would have appreciated the car having just a E to escape button because sometimes I didnt want to go back but it took me anyways. The art was amazing with a good sense of cohesion. The music worked well with the racoon crime vibes and the shop felt nice and cozy. Perhaps too much time was spent making the dialogue as smooth and polished as it was when it was used very little, but oh well. Overall this was a great game and deserves more ratings than it's got! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for checking our game out! I'm glad you enjoyed it and we appreciate the detailed feedback!
Nice work! Game had a good feeling. Felt like a raccoon robber :) Good sounds and music. Great job! check out mine 'Give me the Biscuit' also has raccoons in it :D
I love the concept of a trash bandit going robbing houses, brings back personal memories. Also the game itself is quite good. I'd have loved to see more levels, but of course we all understand the time constraint! The only thing that looked off was the detection radius light which sometimes seemed like it was flickering on spot
Hellp! Thanks for the feedback! Houses are procedurally generates, so you can visit as many as you want! He flickering happens when you crouch or sprint, because you make more or less noise the detection range gets smaller or bigger.
cool concept
Really liked the art and music. 🦝
Cool Game! I really enjoyed the rougelike elements, but there were some performance issues when the enemies find you, it isn't permanent but it is there occasionally... really fun though.
Really awesome! The art is great, the music is good, I know that a lot of people said this already, but the losing condition seems not to be working, even when you are directly colliding with enemies. Other than that, it's really fun!
Hmm that's really weird. Works perfect for me, are you sure you are not on cool down/losing hearts? Thanks for the feedback!
I tried walking into them in 2 different runs with the same outcome of not getting hurt, nonetheless good game!
I think that it is just the cool down! Thanks for playing
This was the most fun game I played today! I really like how the houses are randomly generated, and you never know what to expect on the next level. Also, and the soundtrack is the cherry on top!
It would be nice to have a confirmation prompt before leaving a house, though. I accidentally exited a few times. There's also a glitch where sometimes you can't take damage from the guards.
Still, amazing concept! Great work!
Thanks you so much! It means alot to me. Can you give me a little more info on the bug with the guards? Just so you know, guards only give damage if you are very close to them and if you haven't gotten damage in the past few seconds.
Sure! Here's what happened: after I bought all the upgrades, I started a new run. I had full health (5 hearts), and I noticed that when I collided with enemies, they just didn’t deal any damage, no matter how many times I tried. None of them did. The issue continued in the following runs as well. I'm not sure if it’s related to the upgrades or something else, but I probably did something that unintentionally broke the game.
I liked the idea and gameplay, really cool one. Only the way the guards look around seems unpredictable. 🔥🔥
Thanks for the feedback!
The guard ai is indeed unpredictable, because of this you only take damage when you're really close to them for a tiny bit.
Really cool concept. The audio and visuals are really nice! I tried out the smoke bomb and the cardboard box and it was pretty cool, but sometimes the cardboard box didn't work.
Feedback: I feel like shadows could make the environment feel more risky/stealthy
Hello, Thanks for the feedback! To clarify the cardboard box only works when you're not moving! Have a great day
Really nice game! Great mechanics and an amazing choice for the audio and visuals!
Thank you! Really nice to hear!
During the introduction i was killed by a Dog even though i coulnd't yet move. Overall fun experience
Thanks for the feedback! You should be able to move even during the introduction specifically for this reason!
fun game!
I wish I could pick stuff up with a button other than E, like the space bar isn't being used for anything else and my thumb is free to press a button. Would have made it easier.
Also I think more feedback when you get caught and lose a life would be amazing to make those moments feel more impactful.
overall though, a very solid game loop and neat idea!
Thanks for the feedback! There currently is a sound for the life losing feedback, but it hard to hear over the music...
The raccoon drew me in, and I did enjoy the portions of the game I did play. However, I kept encountering fatal errors that would kill the game and force me to refresh the pages. I also found that holding control while using WASD would often result in the tab forcefully closing.
I would love to play more of the game but I kept running into the issues as I've listed above. Otherwise, solid game!
Thanks for your comment! The issues you were encountering were probably with controls, if they wern't please list them and I'll take a look! We intentionally mentioned the controls on our page! You can use C as well to crouch and that would fix the closing problem! It may feel crammed, but that are the limitations we have to work with for web builds.
