Super cool game! Really creative use of the genre too.

I did find a weird bug where the ball just permanently deflated, and didn't stop the run. But it also persisted into the next run. Fortunately this was after I already beat the game.

This also happened to me at some point and I was sure somebody would encounter it and (justifiably) tank my rating, I’m going to hopefully do an update today to fix and polish some remaining issues :)

Didn't really affect the rating too much. My game also had way too many bugs, so it'd be a bit hypocritical of me to do that.

a simple and charming game with a weird unique activity. it feels like a mix of an idle/incremental game (where you click a lot to boost your currency) and a bullet hell. it works because it has a rotation of the gameplay and the shop, which paces things well and makes the game addictive. well done.

Super funny and ADDICTIVE little game! After 5 tries, I finally beat it , bought everything, and my finger got tired from spamming the left click! 😄 Really great effort, congratulations , I had a lot of fun!
The only bug I noticed was that sometimes the ball wouldn’t stay perfectly aligned with the player, but it didn’t really affect the gameplay.

This is addictive, the game gets quite fun as you start to get put under pressure by the cars on the pavements, the black car at the end is hilarious. That's a cool and original idea for a game and a perfect loop for a game jam. Great choice of music too, it's awesome.

Dude, this was such a fun game! I had an awesome time lol

Great work. I really have no complaints except for the part where 12 something cars stacked together came lunging at me from nowhere lol xD Good work. One of the entries I absolutely would play the shit out of.

It really means a lot to get such a positive comment from somebody who is probably going to rank a lot higher in the jam than me.  Your game is extremely good. <3

Sorry about the stacked cars, sometimes my tendency to make myself laugh with a stupid idea outweighs my good design sensibilities.

This game is very fun. Although at first I thought I was supposed to hit the cars with the ball, I figured out I needed to pass the ball from one person to another. I loved the idea of multiples of cars spawning in after either time passes by in the day or I'm consistently getting successful passes. My only pet peeve in the game was how a few cars hit the players with the ball and I kept losing lives because of that. I also loved the simple upgrade menu, it felt like I was getting more powers in the game. Great game overall for sure.

Thanks! The sidewalk cars were intentional but I did think maybe they were a bit unfair, I probably should have at least added a telegraph so you had a bit more time to prepare for them.

Seemed boring at first but after getting few upgrades was pretty funny blasting all the cars I could.

Only problem I see is once I get all upgrades I don't really have reason to continue playing which is too bad considering that is when it is the most fun.

Personally, I like the challenge the game poses better with minimum upgrades which is why I didn't prolong the game any longer or have an end screen, haha. Glad you liked that mechanic though, blowing up cars and the combo meter is something I quickly added in the last hour during the extension to try any make the game fit the theme better, it almost didn't make it in because of a bug I was having with it and I didn't get to test it so I was worried it might be unbalanced. Maybe it kinda is, but fun is the most important thing to me. If I had more time I would have given the cars an animation for being destroyed so it feels cooler.

Interesting blend of genre, and a very unique take on a bullet hell as a whole :3

Thank you! It's hard for me to get inspired to make something unless I have a somewhat unique idea for it

Fun game and original concept :) I also really like how it looks

Thanks! I tried my best with the pixel art because I'm not a very good artist so the only thing I can do to try and make it look alright. Given the limited time I'm happy with how it turned out although I still really dislike how text objects look in the construct 3 engine at low resolutions, I have yet to find an easy to implement pixel art font
