Summarise your game!
Setsuna is a freedom fighter who uses her wit and social deception skills to tear apart corporations from the inside.

Mechanics - shapeshifting and rpg dialogue
Controls - WASD or arrow keys to move, E F or spacebar to interact, Tab to shapeshift. The game is fully playable on controller as well. Left joystick to move, A to interact, B or any trigger/bumper to shapeshift, right joystick to select a shapeshift.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Setsuna was created in a lab as a biological experiment. She uses her supernatural social deception abilities instead of brute force.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Nothing in particular, just enjoy the game!

We apologise for your review going out late. Here is your review from one of the judges:

they game plays very well in the browser and the GDD is well written and acts as a great base for the games development. I appreciate the ability to control the volume of the sound of the game. I like the idea of an agent of a rebellion who has to infiltrate the lab to acquire the cure for cancer. The sound effects are well placed and clea, not distracting. The way you keep the transformations after you are caught make the game able to keep exploring without doing all the steps again which is really nice. The game has the potential to offer a lot of different levels by giving new missions, carry over some of the transformations. Maybe even include some stealth sections players have to sneak around with visible vision cones. Give the player multiple ways to finish the missions might be interesting as well, like eliminate the targets or deceive them with the transformations. The level design is done well, try to keep the outline of the building consistent throughout the levels. The dialogues are well written and give a good impression of the characters personality.

Yay another game about a shapeshifter! haha I really like this idea, it could totally be expanded into a very complex puzzle. Like, what if characters react differently and give you more information depending on the shape you're in?

Absolutely love that idea, it’s one we fought over tooth and nail. Ultimately just didn’t only due to scope creep and lack of time, but any expansion of this game in the future will have that!

Cute game. I really like the character sprites and animations. I especially love how the receptionists ramble just bleeds out the bottom of the window lol.
