Thanks! The sound is done with JavaScript and mp3's in the browser. It's not in the gameboy file.

I may try to do this in the future but as of now I'm not sure how to do that. If anyone has ideas let me know.

Nice work on your Fable game! Impressive use of audio clips. I didn't know the Gameboy could do that. 

I see you used the diagonal movement too and I noticed you have the same clipping bug if walking into actors diagonally:

Thanks for making this! Sorry there's no sound on the Beta ROM, if that's what you used. The digital edition ROM from Incube8 has chiptune sound. If you play it in the browser there should be color and mp3 sound also.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the cart version will be color.  I'm hoping to finish it up this spring or summer. It's taking a bit longer than anticipated to convert to color version, add music, iron out bugs and add French translation. It was a bit tricky. There's Javascript that hooks onto the Gameboy memory and that triggers mp3 sound sprites.
