v1.1 mostly adjusted a few lines in the Stella path and fixed some grammar/continuity issues. (Like someone pointed out to me that diabetics can't serve in the military, which was an oops on my part). The most notable changed line was in the scene where Anon gives Stella the necklace.
My translator is still working on it. He's finished Act 2 and he's working on the rest of the mod right now. I unfortunately don't have an ETA yet but it's still in progress.
I've released an update ironing out a lot of the punctuation and minor bugs people have identified that I missed. If you guys find any more let me know and I'll put them into v1.2. The Spanish/Russian translations are still in progress.
Unfortunately there isnt any additional content after completion. I was mostly focused on trying to make the main two endings as interesting and polished as i could. I hope you like ending D too.
Pick the options that indicate Anon doesn't care about his job. So things like not disciplining Rudy, letting Willow continue her presentation, and so forth. 3 "teacherly" responses leads to the Roberts path. For the most part pick the opposite responses you picked before. The point of no return is in the scene where Anon plays guitar with Roberts.
1. I was particularly interested in doing something different to SG in terms of endings. Anon is an adult and he has adult relationship problems. When you're young relationships have this dreamlike aspect to them but when you're older they're often lots of work and you run into a lot of the same problems over and over. I didn't like that both SG/Wani had a "Anon/Inco enters a perfect relationship" ending with E4 and I wanted to leave the player with "Maybe this wasn't the best result, but it's a good result." One of my illustrators recently had a child and he said this messaging resonated with him strongly.
It's also a contrast with the characters Willow/Rudy, who are both more naive/innocent and have more simple problems. Anon/Roberts/Stella have more "these problems might never get solved" issues. It's very evocative of E2's final line "people never change" and I really wanted to expand upon that thematically.
2. I wanted the player to actively engage with both endings and debate which one is better. I was particularly motivated because I felt the existence of E4 cheapened E3 in both SG/Wani. So I wanted to effectively have two E3s and have the player actively need to debate which one is the better outcome for Anon. Or which one does he deserve more.
3. The fountain shot is a motif repeated in both endings. I kind of wanted that imagery to stick out to the player and ask question things like "wait why do both women experience the same event in their lives?" I never want to spell things out to the player though. I want the player to have their own interpretation and come to their own conclusions.
The Stella sprite I'm using was graciously loaned to me by Mellow. He's credited in the mod's credits. I also created a "Joy" pose that's on the Booru.
I mostly made this project solo, with some help from a few artists who I contacted. I'm not sure if I have time to run a Discord server. If someone wants to make one I might join.
It's telling that when called out for stealing you attempt to claim that Wani also stole from someone else. (Without proof too). You struggle to come up with actual examples of other things these elements came from and still haven't admitted to the fact it's a little weird that every single detail is the same across both games in order. Like it'd be one thing if the gym scene was later on in the game but no it's right at the fucking start.
"Proven wrong" when all your evidence is "Uhh some other thing might have also done this" and going "Uhh the coach isn't based on Wani, I based him off someone else" even though him and the scene he's in is identical to Solly. That's not "proof" of anything.
It's all lies. That's not evidence, it's an inability to take responsibility for what you did. Which is being an unapologetic plagiarist. And every single project you make at this point will be by an unapologetic plagiarist. Was it too hard to write something original? Or did you feel obligated to steal Wani's plot?
You seem to forget most people who want to play a game dont like spoilers. Fun fact the only people who have been playing this game recently have been people I directed here because of your plagiarism. Dancing Towards Tomorrow has become a joke in the Snoot Game space because the plagiarism is so blatant. We've also made memes mocking it for that reason.
Yes you'll be forced to remove all criticism and people pointing out that you're an unapologetic plagiarist. That'll totally work for you and won't blow up in your face.
