I knew about the rat on eachother bug, but left it as no-fix because the workaround is fairly easy. The other bug with the camera console not resetting is completely new to me, a very sweet find! I'm thinking of leaving it in as a finders-keepers ;) in the spirit of gentlemanly burglary.

This is an amazing breakdown of the scoring, and another excellent highscore, wow!

I totally agree with you that the scoring is very crude in the game (the highscore should probably be days instead of peak money as you've pointed out.) I'll definitely consider your suggestions, a big thanks for playing and commenting!

ok so my last comment was after I finished the game, but now I played all b-sides and have 44 s in rooftops-A and 52 s in swamp-A in the star of speed this is amazing

I didn't even think of spamming the lightning staff together with the sword, but i'm super happy the game allows for exploring crazy builds! and four stars?! that's awesome!

hi, thanks for playing and commenting! there's a good chunk of stuff around the house that only serves as objects to hide behind from guards. If they look a certain way they will always do the same thing if that makes sense.

It's a known issue with games made with pico-8 that they sometimes get flagged by antivirus. I'm looking into it if there's anything I can do on my end to make this experience better.

In the meantime, if you don't feel safe downloading it, it's available in full above in as a web game. Then there's no download and no virus. The only catch is your save does not carry over.
