Honestly this really surprised me, I didn't think I was gonna like it very much, but I love the idea its actually a really fun combination of dudgeon crawler, RPG, and puzzle game. It feels as if it could have been a lost NES game. Took me a minute to figure out that I only needed the keycard to move on besides that 10/10. Fantastic job

Thanks for playing, its funny there is actually a specific object that's supposed to stop the player from going too far off screen, I just forgot to put it in another other level besides the first, which I'm pretty sure is the only one you cant go offscreen on. But thanks for pointing that out

Very fun, great graphics, quite liked the combat aswell, but the dice just hate me or something, pure 2s and 1s all across the board

Great entry took me a minute to release it wasn't an actual NES game. Its very accurate, and I love the yoyo drive move, very slick, also fantastic music! But there was an issue with I presume the frame delta, where the first couple times I tried playing the game on my laptop it ran much slower, this was the web build tho so it could be a few other things causing it.

Pretty sick, near-perfect recreation of the original. I still suck at it, so that's how you know you got it right.

I thought it was quite a neat concept, really good use of 3D given the resolution, maybe could have been expanded on, like using your block buddy as a platform when your not controlling them. Still very fun tho.

Too charming

Twas very fun, got bird blocked by a monstrous lump of dirt (I'm sure your aware of the issue), still very enjoyable / replayable, all things considered

Thanks for playing, glad you got the hang of it some people really struggled with it, also the options doesn't exist at the minute so I just made the button fall off screen.

Charmingly simple, reminds me of something you'd see in a 2009 flash game, cool vibes.

yeah I left the turrets to the last minute, not the first time I've done that in a game jam, just to meet the dead line. I kind of forgot to add a basic time out deletion, or off screen deletion for anything, so they just permanently exist ticking up position values and slowly lagging the game, whoops.

Was completely lost the whole time, loved it tho.

Yeah I kinda ran out of time to explain how some holes are intake whilst others give power, bit hard to explain so I get the confusion. But thanks for playing.

Actually very fun for being just 21kb's, very nice lighting as well , gets a bit repetitive after a little bit, but out of every game in the jam it takes the longest to do so. However that recoil has nothing on counter strike.

Wow I have never seen that glitch before, pretty funny tho, I have a faint idea of what might be causing it. Something I'll hopefully get round to patching at a later point, but all and all thanks for playing, sorry again about its bugginess.

🔥 Pause screen

nice, yeah that's the only secret for the time being  ;-)

yeah sorry its not much longer, given I'm not the best developer when it comes to 3D stuff I don't think its all too bad, also did you find the secret room?

thanks dude, means a lot, here's a link and what not to the sound track

awesome game love the artstyle

Technically the room layout is the same as portal 2s chamber 19, so its more triple laser than you could ever imagine.
Also all I can say is that he'll be back come titled laser room.

Im sorry to hear it didn't run very well, I'll try to work on performance upgrades in the future, but unfortunately I cannot change my upload during the voting period, also the blue door is on the furthest platform from the tape, sorry I'm pretty bad at describing things.

Yeah I couldn't make a decent enough example in the tutorial sorry about that, But hey you learnt about it through the game so I'm going to say that was intentional or something, sorry about the poor design I've never tutorialed before.

weird are you playing the linux version by chance?

when did you download it, because I added a tutorial after release, sorry about that

I like the idea very unique, but I had issues using the portal gun it would shot sometimes but in the exact same set up it wouldn't fire a second time, besides that really cool

Pretty fun wish there was more

that was pretty banging

Thank you very much, it means a lot that you included it in your video, honestly didn't think any one would play this after the jam so its nice to see someone having a good time with it even after its conclusion.

Where's Susan 2?

Pretty fun and well polished for a jam game

Thanks for the note about the Arrow keys, forgot to add them in, but since you mentioned it, I've updated the game to support it.  Thanks for the feedback.

yeah the grabbing can be a bit finicky, you need to basically press down (S) and B (Enter) to pick stuff up such as turnips or enemies. But thanks for playing anyways.

yeah I tried doing something more original for the music but what ever I came up with was a little too dull. In the end due to time constraints and my inability to make good music fast I just used the preexisting music from mario superstars.

Mini Luigi is just better in every way, I didn't even need to program that in, he just is.

thanks, in future I might reduce the players gravity as a few people have mentioned that it feels a bit off.  Anyway thanks for playing I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Well thanks, I enjoyed working on this game quite a bit, I've moved onto something else since, I still hope to update the title but nothing to serious, anyway thank very much for playing and sorry about the graphical issues.

Great to here that you enjoyed the part you played, unfortunately there are some input issues I'm aware of with SDL and the bar that measures your distance inst scaled properly with different resolutions so if your playing on 1440p or 4k it may look kinda small.
I will work to patch this and a handful of other issues in the future, if you want access to the editor I can provide it, but It might need a bit of explaining because it was really only made for this project and I believed myself to most likely be the only one using them, so the tools dont make too much sense unless you already have preexisting  knowledge of whats going on.

Funny you mention the touch controls, the idea for this game was original ment for a mobile project I never finished. Also yeah sorry about the Physics I had to custom make them for the engine, and there definitely not perfect, but anyway thanks for playing.
