you.  Link to your activity on the project, a statement, etc... Rest of the
document should be Gabriel or I only until the RM selection is done, but

Hello all!

My name is Gunnard Engebreth. I have been a PHP developer since I crossed over from PERL in the early 2000s. After 20 years of development I slightly pivoted into speaking, writing roles -- including a few articles for php[architect] magazine as well as a book on PHP 8. Researching the book lead me to dive into the internals/externals.io and really feel the community aspect of PHP. As a long time user, advocate of PHP I want to do something more for the community. I want to help new, Jr, and senior developers venture into the world of PHP as new versions are released. I can (and will if elected) represent PHP, RFC Votes, Mailing list discussions/debates and ideals to the best of my ability.
