We’re hosting Global Game Jam 2024 from January 22nd through January 28th, 2024! Make a game in just under a week with new ideas, new tools, and new pals!
The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development.
PIGSquad has been hosting a GGJ site in Portland since 2012. Global Game Jam gives us an opportunity to develop games among friends and make new acquaintances in a limited time! We’re excited to host our 13th GGJ with you in 2024.
As we move back to in-person events, our Global Game Jam 2024 will have a hybrid remote & digital presence! Join us for coworking in person, updating each other on Discord, and checking in on Twitch.
In-person event participation will require wearing a mask to attend in order to provide a safe environment in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Any form of remote participation from any location is welcome, and we will be hosting team-forming and coworking events online in our Discord channel and on Twitch!

Add your teammates to your game page (after they register too)

Upload your game to itch.io
Add your team members to your itch.io page
Take or make a Team Photo and fill out the description of your game pages
Brag on social media
