GGOS is a Graphical Simulator of the gravity interaction written in C. It provides a real-time tracking of the orbit and the user can interact with the universe with a lot of function. There is 2 different version:1(fast)with X11 2(slow)written with GLUT

libadb is an astronomical catalog management library desgined to provide fast access to astronomical object data.

Simon Newcomb published his theory, known as Tables of the Sun, in 1898. It was used by the American Ephemeris and the Astronomical Almanac into the 1980's to compute the daily positions of the Sun. This Theory is a semi-analytic model which expresses quantities as a trigonometric series with numerical coefficients. This type of model produces a compact computer function which has enough accuracy to be useful to most users. My goal is to create a model using C which will reproduce exactly the results published in the Astronomical Almanac for the years 1981, 1982 and 1983.

This library implements the serial commands supported by the Celestron NexStar hand control (HC) and SkyWatcher/Orion SynScan HC. This applies to the Celestron: NexStar GPS, NexStar GPS-SA, NexStar iSeries, NexStar SE Series, NexStar GT, CPC, SLT, Advanced-VX, Advanced-GT, CGE, CGEM etc. SkyWatcher: EQ5, HEQ5, EQ6 (Pro), AZ-EQ5 GT, AZ-EQ6 GT, EQ8 etc. and the corresponding Orion mounts. Communication to the hand control is 9600 bits/sec, no parity and one stop bit via the RS-232 port on the base of the hand control. Communication can be established over TCP/IP if nexbridge is running on the computer connected to the telescope.
