Selenium automates browsers. That's it! What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should) also be automated as well. If you want to create robust, browser-based regression automation suites and tests, scale and distribute scripts across many environments, then you want to use Selenium WebDriver, a collection of language specific bindings to drive a browser - the way it is meant to be driven. If you want to create quick bug reproduction scripts, create scripts to aid in automation-aided exploratory testing, then you want to use Selenium IDE; a Chrome and Firefox add-on that will do simple record-and-playback of interactions with the browser. CefSharp is an easy way to embed a full-featured standards-compliant web browser into your C# or VB.NET app. CefSharp has browser controls for WinForms and WPF apps, and a headless (offscreen) version for automation projects too. CefSharp is based on Chromium Embedded Framework, the open source version of Google Chrome. CefSharp embraces modern web standards, and supports HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 audio/video elements. 3D content is supported via WebGL which uses OpenGL/DirectX for hardware accelerated rendering. CefSharp includes embedded modules for PDF, web page printing and the WebKit Inspector (developer tools). The plugin comes bundled with a useful set of validation methods, including URL and email validation, while providing an API to write your own methods. All bundled methods come with default error messages in english and translations into 37 other languages. The plugin was initially written and maintained by Jörn Zaefferer, a member of the jQuery team, lead developer on the jQuery UI team and maintainer of QUnit. It was started back in the early days of jQuery in 2006, and updated and improved since then. -

Users submit when a sponsor happens from the extension, and the extension automatically skips sponsors it knows about using a privacy-preserving query system. It also supports skipping other categories, such as intros, outros, and reminders to subscribe, and skipping to the point with highlights. The extension also features an upvote/downvote system with a weighted random-based distribution algorithm. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment. After installing Zeal go to Tools ⟶ Docsets to browse and download docsets. You can limit search results to specific (or a set of specific) docsets. The docset filter and the search query are delimited by a colon character (:). If you prefer, you can start Zeal with a query from the command line. You can also search multiple docsets separating them with a comma. You can limit the search scope by using ':' to indicate the desired docsets. -

Makes Linux applications self-contained by copying in the libraries and plugins that the application uses, and optionally generates an AppImage. Can be used for Qt and other applications. This Linux Deployment Tool, linuxdeployqt, takes an application as input and makes it self-contained by copying in the resources that the application uses (like libraries, graphics, and plugins) into a bundle. The resulting bundle can be distributed as an AppDir or as an AppImage to users, or can be put into cross-distribution packages. It can be used as part of the build process to deploy applications written in C, C++, and other compiled languages with systems like CMake, qmake, and make. When used on Qt-based applications, it can bundle a specific minimal subset of Qt required to run the application. This tool is conceptually based on the Mac Deployment Tool, macdeployqt in the tools applications of the Qt Toolkit, but has been changed to a slightly different logic. -

Telegraf is an agent for collecting, processing, aggregating, and writing metrics. Design goals are to have a minimal memory footprint with a plugin system so that developers in the community can easily add support for collecting metrics. Telegraf is plugin-driven and has the concept of 4 distinct plugin types. Input Plugins collect metrics from the system, services, or 3rd party APIs. Processor Plugins transform, decorate, and/or filter metrics. Aggregator Plugins create aggregate metrics (e.g. mean, min, max, quantiles, etc.). Output Plugins write metrics to various destinations. New plugins are designed to be easy to contribute, pull requests are welcomed and we work to incorporate as many pull requests as possible. You can try Telegraf right in your browser in the Telegraf playground. Telegraf shares the same minimum requirements as Go. -

Puppeteer is a headless Node library that provides a high level API for controlling Chromium or Chrome over the DevTools protocol. It requires zero setup and comes bundled with the Chromium version most suited to it. Puppeteer is headless by default, making it fast to run. However, it can also be set to run full or non-headless Chrome or Chromium, simply set the headless option when launching a browser. Many of the things you can do manually in the browser, you can also do with Puppeteer such as generate page screenshots and PDFs, crawl a Single-Page Application, test Chrome extensions and more. -

A neutral new tab page accented with a chosen color. Customize the layout, style, background and bookmarks with nightTab. Make the browser start page dark (or light, or anything in between). Do not access user information. This means nightTab will not request browser permissions. Aim to make everything on the user interface, within reason, customizable. Aim to make the user experience easy while supporting the above. Keep nightTab open source. Sharing the look and feel of one Bookmark to another can be achieved when editing a single Bookmark. The Bookmark edit modal has three options to copy settings to other Bookmarks. These checkboxes can be found at the bottom of the Visual & Name, Layout and Theme tab. Development and testing is only conducted on Chrome and Firefox. The performance and reliability of nightTab on other browsers is out of the scope of this project. -

This repository contains the Apollo Client Browser Devtools extension for Chrome & Firefox. The Apollo Client Browser Devtools appears as an "Apollo" tab in your web browser inspector, alongside other tabs like "Elements" and "Console". Send queries to your server through your web applications configured Apollo Client instance, or query the Apollo Client cache to see what data is loaded. View active queries, variables, cached results, and re-run individual queries. View fired mutations, and variables, and re-run individual mutations. Visualize the Apollo Client cache and search through it by field names and/or values. You can install the extension via Firefox Browser Add-ons or the Chrome Webstore. If you want to install a local version of the extension instead, skip ahead to the Developing section. While your application is in dev mode, the devtools will appear as an "Apollo" tab in your web browser inspector. -

There is a plethora of JavaScript libraries for use on the web and in node.js apps out there. This greatly simplifies, but we need to stay updated on security fixes. "Using Components with Known Vulnerabilities" is now a part of the OWASP Top 10 and insecure libraries can pose a huge risk for your web app. The goal of Retire.js is to help you detect the use of versions with known vulnerabilities. Scan a web app or node app for use of vulnerable JavaScript libraries and/or node modules. grunt-retire scans your grunt-enabled app for use of vulnerable JavaScript libraries and/or node modules. Scans visited sites for references to insecure libraries and puts warnings in the developer console. An icon on the address bar displays will also indicate if vulnerable libraries were loaded. Retire.js has been adapted as a plugin for the penetration testing tools Burp and OWASP ZAP. -

node-gyp is a cross-platform command-line tool written in Node.js for compiling native addon modules for Node.js. It contains a vendored copy of the gyp-next project that was previously used by the Chromium team, extended to support the development of Node.js native addons. Note that node-gyp is not used to build Node.js itself. Multiple target versions of Node.js are supported (i.e. 0.8, ..., 4, 5, 6, etc.), regardless of what version of Node.js is actually installed on your system (node-gyp downloads the necessary development files or headers for the target version). node-gyp requires that you have installed a compatible version of Python, one of: v3.6, v3.7, v3.8, or v3.9. If you have multiple Python versions installed, you can identify which Python version node-gyp should use. A binding.gyp file describes the configuration to build your module, in a JSON-like format. This file gets placed in the root of your package, alongside package.json. -

vConsole is a lightweight, extendable front-end developer tool for mobile web page. A plugin allows you to add a new tab, add one or more tool button(s). You can customize the functions of the tab and buttons. After imported, vConsole should be inited manually. When vConsole is not loaded, logs will be printed to native console. After importing vConsole, logs will be printed to both front-end console and native console. Some useful vConsole properties and methods are available for plugin development. You can destroy an vConsole instance object and remove vConsole panel from document. You can also add a new plugin to vConsole. Duplicate plugin will be ignored. Create an vConsole plugin object, bind plugin events to this object, and add this object to vConsole. While installing and running a plugin, vConsole will trigger some events to allow a plugin customizing it's functions. -

Polyfill.io reads the User-Agent header of each request and returns polyfills that are suitable for the requesting browser. There are lots of differing browsers and browser versions in use throughout the world, each one has a slightly different set of features to the rest. This can make developing for browsers a difficult task. The latest versions of the popular browsers can do lots of things which older browsers can not – but you may still have to support the older browsers. Polyfill.io makes it simpler to support differing browsers by attempting to recreate the missing features with polyfills: You can make use of the latest and greatest features in browsers which support them, and in those that do not. -

Not "ish", but "us", as in "us" the actual users. Stylus is a fork of Stylish that is based on the source code of version 1.5.2, which was the most up-to-date version before the original developer stopped working on the project. The objective in creating Stylus was to remove any and all analytics, and return to a more user-friendly UI. We recognize that the ability to transfer your database from Stylish is important, so this is the one and only feature we've implemented from the new version. Two different optional code validators with user-configurable rules: CSSLint and Stylelint. Both validators use Web Worker API to run in a separate background thread inside the editor tab without blocking your interaction with the code. -

Easy-to-use library to remove click delays on browsers with touch UIs
FastClick is a simple, easy-to-use library for eliminating the 300ms delay between a physical tap and the firing of a click event on mobile browsers. The aim is to make your application feel less laggy and more responsive while avoiding any interference with your current logic. FastClick is developed by FT Labs, part of the Financial Times. Note: As of late 2015 most mobile browsers - notably Chrome and Safari - no longer have a 300ms touch delay, so fastclick offers no benefit on newer browsers, and risks introducing bugs into your application. Consider carefully whether you really need to use it. The library has been deployed as part of the FT Web App. FastClick doesn't attach any listeners on desktop browsers. -

I plan to maintain this plugin and provide support to users implementing FlexSlider into their sites. Responsive web design can be tricky, but I hope that FlexSlider serves to uncomplicate the process, just a little bit. -

Greenworks is a node.js addon that allows you to integrate your HTML5 game (or app) with Steamworks by exposing a number of Steamworks APIs to JavaScript. Greenworks was originally developed by Greenheart Games to enable Steam integration in Game Dev Tycoon. Since then, it has been open-sourced and is used in many other projects. Currently, Greenworks supports node v0.8, v0.10, v0.12, v4, v5, v6, v7, v8, v9 and v10. Guides and the API references are located in docs directory. Greenworks is published under the MIT license. Greenworks is built using Native Abstractions for Node.js to support different node versions. The project is currently funded by Greenheart Games and other donors. -
