KaeilOS is an embedded linux GNU/GPL distribution composed of a collection of the best publicly available Open Source packages. Version 4.00 available since January 2009 has joined OpenEmbedded project offering a wider selection of packages and recipes.

The wolfSSL embedded SSL library (formerly CyaSSL) is a lightweight, portable, C-language-based SSL/TLS library targeted at IoT, embedded, and RTOS environments primarily because of its size, speed, and feature set. It works seamlessly in desktop, enterprise, and cloud environments as well. wolfSSL supports industry standards up to the current TLS 1.2 and DTLS 1.2, is up to 20 times smaller than OpenSSL, offers a simple API, an OpenSSL compatibility layer, OCSP and CRL support, is backed by the robust wolfCrypt cryptography library, and much more. wolfSSL relies on the FIPS 140-2 validated wolfCrypt library for all cryptographic functionality. Contains a framework for Coldfire MCUs like 52254. The framework supports a Command Line Interface (CLI) that may work from Serial port, USB or ENET. The framework uses Processor Expert and IDE requirement is MCU Eclipse 10.4 from Freescale. New Linux distribution aimed at Openmoko Freerunner

openchronos-ng is a major rework of openchronos. Compared to openchronos it has the following features: * system message bus for system<->module communication. * hardware RTC timekeeping (no more clock inaccuracy). * rework of timer and ports drivers. * implementation of a module system (drop in applications). * rework of the display routines. * rework of the menu system. The firmware code is also conceptually simpler and smaller which leaves room for more modules (applications).

The QBoxHD and derivatives are HD digital receivers made by Duolabs. This project provides the official software components that run in these Linux-based devices: boot-loader, kernel, drivers and applications.
