    libusb

    libusb

A cross-platform library to access USB devices

libusb is a library for USB device access from Linux, macOS, Windows, OpenBSD/NetBSD, Haiku and Solaris userspace. It is written in C (Haiku backend in C++) and licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or, at your option, any later version. libusb is a C library that provides generic access to USB devices. It is intended to be used by developers to facilitate the production of applications that communicate with USB hardware. Using a single cross-platform API, it provides access to USB devices on Linux, macOS, Windows, etc. No special privilege or elevation is required for the application to communicate with a device. All versions of the USB protocol, from 1.0 to 3.1 (latest), are supported. libusb is abstracted internally in such a way that it can hopefully be ported to other operating systems.

    Tasmota

    Tasmota

Alternative firmware for ESP8266 with easy configuration

Alternative firmware for ESP8266 with easy configuration using webUI, OTA updates, automation using timers or rules, expandability and entirely local control over MQTT, HTTP, Serial or KNX. Unless your Tasmota powered device exhibits a problem or you need to make use of a feature that is not available in the Tasmota version currently installed on your device, leave your device alone - it works so don't make unnecessary changes! If the release version (i.e., the master branch) exhibits unexpected behaviour for your device and configuration, you should upgrade to the latest development version instead to see if your problem is resolved as some bugs in previous releases or development builds may already have been resolved. Single binary firmware. Support for TuyaMCU. Increase PWM channels to 16. Initial support for ESP32S3 with support for 38 configurable GPIOs.

Particle Firmware for the Electron, P1

Particle Firmware for the Electron, P1

Device OS (Firmware) for particle devices

The Photon uses an ARM Cortex M3 CPU based microcontroller. All of the code is built around the GNU GCC toolchain offered and maintained by ARM. The build requires version 5.3.1 20160307 or newer of ARM GCC and will print an error message if the version is older than this. In order to turn your source code into binaries, you will need a tool called make. Windows users need to explicitly install make on their machines. Make sure you can use it from the terminal window. The entire Particle firmware is contained in this repository. The main user code sits in the application.cpp file under firmware/user/src/ folder. Unless you know what you are doing, refrain from making changes to any other files. After you are done editing the files, you can rebuild the repository by running the make command in the firmware/main/ directory. If you have made changes to any of the other directories, make automatically determines which files need to be rebuilt and builds them for you.

    Cortex GNAT Run Time Systems

Supports writing Ada software for Cortex-M3, M4F boards

DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PROJECT HAS MOVED TO GITHUB, at https://github.com/simonjwright/cortex-gnat-rts This project contains various GNAT Ada Run Time Systems (RTSs) targeted at Cortex boards: so far, the Arduino Due (http://www.arduino.org) and the STM32F4-series evaluation boards from STMicroelectronics (http://www.st.com). It is intended that releases will allow the development of proprietary software (by the use of the GCC Runtime Library exception for project-developed code, and by only using manufacturer’s software where the same permission applies).

    fx3load

fxload utility from linux-hotplug project updated for the FX3

This is a branch from the fxload project, originally part of the linux-hotplug SourceForge project which seems to be abandoned. This branch incorporates the patch from Steven J. Magnani that adds support for Cypress FX3 USB 3.0 endpoint to the fxload utility. It has been tested on Ubuntu 12.04 with the FX3 development kit (part number CYUSB3KIT-001). Oddly, as of January 2013 Cypress doesn't include this utility with its (open source) Linux SDK but requires developers to purchase a copy of MS Windows to be able to program the board. This SourceForge project contains no new code.
