AcademiX GNU/Linux is a Debian-based Linux distribution developed specifically for education. The distribution was built on the Debian Linux (Stretch / Buster) distribution and contains free software for education. The programs included in the distribution are for all levels of education – from primary to upper and / or university levels. The AcademiX Linux distribution includes an installation utility that can be used to install a variety of applications in mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, statistics, electronics, amateur radio, graphics, office, programming – which are accompanied by virtual interactive labs, and a virtual microscope developed in collaboration with NASA. Robotics Laboratories successfully complete the list of educational programs provided by the distribution. TranslucentTB is a utility that makes the taskbar on Windows 10 translucent/transparent. It is very lightweight, utilizing just a few MB of RAM and almost no CPU power. TranslucentTB gives your Windows desktop a cleaner, more visually appealing look and feel, and comes with a great range of features. This includes: an advanced color picker with a live preview feature for changing the taskbar color; different taskbar states that can be color-customized; and dynamic modes which change the appearance of the taskbar depending on what is being opened on your PC.

Save monitor configurations of Windows 7 or 10 and easily switch between them with a click in a popup menu of your taskbar. The tool is designed for users with two or more monitors who in certain situations would like to quickly change their monitor setup (e.g. enable/disable a TV which is attached to the HDMI port, make an attached TV the primary display to remove tearing switch which monitor is on the left/right...). Along the monitor state and setup the resolution is also saved and restored. The program works by saving a current monitor setup as configured using the windows control panel to an xml file. A windowed / full-screen countdown timer. Colour and font size changes are used as warnings. Progress-bar gives a glance at the time stream. Three different modes are available: - time left; - time passed; - ordinary clock. When the time is over several possibilities are available: - to show the defined message; - to continue count the time; - to launch another application; - to close the count-down timer. Useful for speech, lecture or presentation timing. Colour / font / time limits can be changed using settings window and hot-keys. To change current time use the mouse wheel. By clicking on progress-bar, the timer mode is toggled.

Circle is an icon theme for Linux from the Numix project. This readme provides information on installation, icon requests and hardcoded icons. Licensed under the GPL-3.0+. If using this with our base icon theme make sure you install both parts using the same method. This makes sure that the panel icons keep working as intended. If you use Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo or any of their derivatives then you're sorted! Numix Circle is available from the official repositories. If you use Ubuntu or any of its derivatives (including Mint and elementary OS) you can use our Numix PPA to get the very latest version of the theme. For Arch users there's a community-maintained package in the AUR that builds from this GitHub. For Gentoo users there's a community-maintained ebuild in the edgets overlay which builds icons directly from Lumix-core repository, so you receive latest commits. To deal with hardcoded application icons Numix uses the hardcode-fixer script.
