iPDC is a free Phasor Data Concentrator that collects data from PMUs, and PDC/iPDC that are IEEEC37.118 Synchrophasors std compliant. iPDC do the time sequencing and combining of the received data as per IEEEC37.118 and send to other iPDCs, and applications on request. iPDC is able to archive the received data in the MySQL database on local/remote machine. PMU Simulator is also IEEEC37.118 std compliant. Software is built to be working on Linux platform.

This project is designed to be able to take standard NMEA data available from most boats and broadcast APRS WX reports. Other telemetry like battery voltage, tank levels, etc, as well as data logging will be supported.

The project "Sippie" is an additional tool for automatically converting Wireshark-Traces to XML - scenarios, which can be easily used as infile for the OpenSource SIPp test tool and traffic generator.

Testmaker is an application written in PHP for creating questionnaires that can be administered online. Provides multiple response formats (likert, single selection, multiple choice, open, etc.) and methods to store the results. Localization system for ZigBee networks. Based on the analysis of RSSI, estimates the positions of the mobile nodes. Firmware in C for the ZigBee modules. Java service produces results in a accessible webservlet, the user can manage the WSN network.

Interfaces to Vaisala Present Weather (PWD12) and Vaisala NMEA (WS425 or WMT700) serial data and produces DATEX2 V2 compliant tranmissions over a LAN.

A short python script to monitor filesize changes and to email the file contents to a gmail user once the file is no longer being changed. Useful for keeping track of data-generating programs and as an early alert system for data collection problems.

A "simple" demonstration software for decoding ACARS, a low-bandwidth communication protocol used by airplanes to communicate with airports. Mellow Panda is a collection of LINUX applications for control of radio receivers. It consists of a daemon and specialized clients (dedicated to each receiver model). There are example clients which Uniden Bearcat and Icom radios.

OpticsBenchUI software is dedicated to the automation of optics lab experiments. Optics instruments are interfaced using several other open source projects among which dc1394, aravis, comedi. OpticsBenchUI allows inter-operation of digital cameras (Firewire, GigE Vision, CameraLink), actuators (RS232, USB, Ethernet), spatial light modulators (SLM), digital I/O and analog I/O boards (counters, DAC, ADC) and a Supercontinuum laser source (CP210X USB to UART bridge). Each instrument can be configured and operated individually. Strategy scans involving all instruments can be programmed in a simple acquisition panel. Data are saved in a hierachical way, adapted to scan profiles (HDF5 file format). The graphical user interface is based on open source Qt.
