We’re proud to welcome 10 new Retail Apprentices into One Stop stores across England through our Stronger Starts Apprenticeship programme, delivered by Lifetime Training. This initiative is part of Tesco’s ongoing commitment to tackle youth unemployment and remove the barriers many young people face when entering education, employment, or training. For the first time this year, we have offered 10 places to help young people gain the skills, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to build brighter futures—not just for themselves, but for the communities they serve. What makes Stronger Starts different? ✅ No qualifications or experience required to apply ✅ Equal pay for all apprentices, regardless of age or background ✅ Practical training across all areas of retail ✅ Partnership with The King’s Trust, one of the UK’s leading youth charities This programme isn’t just about starting a job—it’s about starting a journey. With the right support and commitment, apprentices could even progress to become Shift Leaders by the end of their programme. To our new apprentices, welcome to One Stop. You’re helping shape the future of retail and we’re excited to be part of your journey. #StrongerStarts #RetailApprenticeship #OneStop #YouthEmployment #CommunityMatters #CareerDevelopment #ApprenticeshipJourney #Tesco #TheKingsTrust #LifetimeTraining

🎃 Halloween is here, and we’re loving what marketers are doing with Playable! One standout? One Stop Stores Ltd’s “Wilma’s Magical Mischief” 🧙♀️ Why it works: 1. Interactivity first: the game is front and center, instantly drawing shoppers in 2. Multi-layer engagement: below the game, visitors can explore special Halloween offers or find Halloween themed recipes, keeping them on the page longer 3. Strong incentive: a theme park day out for up to 4 people with skip-the-line access motivates participation This is a great example of a campaign that blends Halloween fun with strong marketing goals, exactly what marketers should aim for during seasonal campaigns. #GroceryRetail #HalloweenCampaign #Gamification #Playable

Today is National Coming Out Day🌈 We held a panel where colleague representatives discussed their experiences with coming out and being in the LGBTQ+ community. It was inspiring and insightful to hear stories of all of their different personal circumstances, and showed how important it is to continue emphasising the importance of allyship! Let's continue to keep the conversation around coming out open, after all, Love is Love.❤️ #LoveIsLove #ComingOutDay

Today marks World Mental Health Day 🧠 It is vital that we shine a light on mental health, and continue to break down the stigma surrounding it. It means different things to every one of us, but mental wellbeing affects how we think, feel, and act and needs consistent care like our physical health. Listen to your brain and body, and help other people do the same. A brew can be a bridge, sometimes a chat can save a life. Reach out to that friend or neighbour for a cuppa and cake, it might just make their day! Yesterday we celebrated One Stop's 50th Birthday! 🎈🎂 After months of hard work, the day came together brilliantly. We had a fantastic supplier event, with lots of freebies and games to play followed by a special birthday huddle, where everyone gathered to celebrate the milestones of the past half a decade! We had delicious pizza for lunch, and our very own quiz master Jack Taylor BCAs hosted a big birthday quiz in the afternoon - which got very competitive ! 🤪 The day was a huge success, and it wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of a long list of people. A special shout out goes to the Marketing Team, who planned the celebrations across head office, DC's, stores, and for our customers.🩷 Have a look at what we got up to, here's to another 50 years 🥂🥳

This week, the wonderful Jackie visited from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) ! As well as visiting head office, she also set up in our DC's. There was so much valuable information on offer, and Jackie was great at explaining where people could go to access different guidance and advice. It was lovely to understand the ways in which Cancer Research can help people ! There's also lots of helpful downloadable info, which we plan on distributing around the office !🩷 #CancerResearch #Health #Information
