The Unibet Middle Distance Veterans’ Chase Series is BACK! 🏆 The series kicks off with the first qualifier at Wincanton on Sunday 26th October. In total, there are seven qualifiers staged over around two and a half miles which lead up to the £100,000 final at Haydock Park on Easter Saturday 2026 (Saturday 4th April). We've taken a look back at all of the winners from last year 👏

Inspiring the next generation 🙌 The culmination of the past three years of Youth Experience Days hosted at our racecourses in conjunction with our Community Partner Gallagher, came last Friday at Haydock Park when we welcomed back over 30 attendees for an evening’s racing. The event was intended as an opportunity to re-engage with the young adults, allow them to come and experience a raceday for themselves and hopefully, complete the circle we set out to draw when inviting them to their first experience day via Rio Ferdinand Foundation. The young adults were treated to an evening in a hospitality box where they were welcomed by our Clerk of the Course, Dan Cooper, taken behind the scenes to see the inner workings of the running of raceday, including a trip to the start for the second race. It was a pleasure to have them back, hear their progress in the world of careers and a huge result to learn that following their visit there in April, two of the attendees had been inspired to apply for and now been accepted on to the National Stud Level 3 course, starting in September of this year. We are very proud of the work that our Gallagher Community partnership continues to deliver and engage with our communities, all important in our quest to recognise and nurture new talent into the industry.
