Thousands expected at film, TV and comic event
Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend a two-day movie, TV and comic convention at Telford International Centre.
The Midlands Comic Con event will feature about 40 actors from films and television series including Police Academy, Terminator 2 and Angel and some are due to give talks.
Andrew Kleek, the CEO and founder of Monoploy Events, said Cosplay, where people dress up as their favourite characters, was also a big part of the event.
People attending will also get the chance to see real props and recreations of film and TV scenes.
Mr Kleek, who organises a number of similar events around the country, said the show would have a wide variety of traders and that Telford was one of his biggest.
Telford played host to Wales Comic Con for a number of years, but is now part of the Midlands Comic Con brand, along with Birmingham.
This year the guests include David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpender and J August Richards from Angel, Linda Hamilton and Robert Patrick from Terminator 2, Christopher Lambert from Highlander and Steve Guttenberg from Police Academy.
