Dream team! #CHC2025
What a whirlwind and an incredibly inspiring three days! A little over a year ago, after life shifted my artistic practice and brought me closer to the health system, I began following Alyson Maier Lokuta and Jill Sonke here on LinkedIn, trying to figure out how I could break into the arts and health field. Almost a year into my time at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, it has been an honor and a gift to work alongside these two leaders to help produce Creating Healthy Communities! I’ve truly loved connecting with so many people doing vital work at the intersection of arts and public health over the last few days. Thank you to our amazing roster of speakers and performers, who left me feeling inspired and energized about what we can create together. Deep gratitude to the Arts & Well-Being team (Alyson Maier Lokuta, Krystle (Kay) Shakespeare, and Erisdania M.), to our partners at the University of Florida - Center for Arts in Medicine, and to every NJPAC staff member involved in the amazing cross-departmental collaboration that made the convening possible. Feeling a little tired, a lot fulfilled, and already looking forward to the next time we can all come together in community! #CHC2025
