Mass Society and Democracy (Timeline Activity)

You can work solo or with a partner


Use a regular sheet of computer paper
The years should go from 1847-1916
Make sure to use color and be creative
Choose 20 of the 25 events to place on a chronologically ordered timeline
Include one image per event (five printed and five hand drawn per side) - 20 total images
In addition to the info already provided below write one additional sentence to explain
each event on the timeline
