Generators have two types on basis of equipment used. Ac generators: Ac generators are also known as single phase generator. A single phase generator can normally generate 24KV or less at specific utilization. Dc generators: These are made up of shunt and series.Dc generators are compound-wound. The emf produce in dc generators are alternative. The dc generator rotate the commutator provides the
