a. Make a road berm (rbe); or
b. Make new strings to follow optimization
7. Repeat from 4 until daylight
Making Wireframes
When pit daylights, to make DTM:
1. Select outer limit, i.e. top string of pit (sol)
2. Make DTM/wireframe (md)
3. Load topography wireframe (gw)
4. Create string from intersection (sfi)
5. Erase both wireframes (eaw)
6. Clip pit design strings to perimeter (ctp) defined by the intersection of pit and
topography
Plotting
When producing plots to use in Corel Draw:
1. Load strings you wish to plot
2. Reduce point size (ssi) and set all values to zero
3. Use the plotter (plo) and set page to A4, set scaling, and define the area plotted
(orange box)
4. Save plotted image

5. Run function pdrive
a. Files | IN - is the plotted image;
b. Parameters | PLOTTYPE = 16
c. Parameters | SPOOL = 0
6. Click ok, and save file but add a plt extension to the name (e.g. plot.plt)
7. Open in Corel Draw
Bugs in Datamine
Datamine stops producing road segments when a string file is loaded:
1. Run command SELCOP and export values
a. PVALUE
b. PTN
c. XP
d. YP
e. ZP
f. COLOUR
2. Run command sort on the exported file with the same values in that order
