DEPARTMENTS MISSION AND VISION
The department aims to provide the student with a course of study directed toward an understanding of mathematical theory and its application and relation
to other fields of study. This study includes an emphasis on precision of definition, reasoning to precise conclusions, and an analysis and solution of problems
using mathematical principle.
OBEJECTIVES:
1 To provide high quality, meaningful, and relevant higher education in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
2 To develop educated mathematicians and scientists of inquiring, creative and disciplined intelligence.
3 To provide opportunities for students to develop functional competence in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
4 To prepare graduates to achieve leadership status in their communities and careers.

Perform the four basic operations on real numbers.
Enumerate the properties and basic theorems, which are working tools in algebraic concepts.
Define and illustrate polynomials.
Perform the basic operations on polynomials.
Enumerate the different types of factoring and distinguish factorable expressions and factor polynomials completely.
Solve the unknown term in an equation.
Distinguish a function from mere relation.
Develop comprehension in mathematical symbols and notations.
