SITE SELECTION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT WHILE DESIGNING ANY THESIS / STRUCTURE. THE SITE
SHOULD BE SELECTED ON THE BASIS OF WHAT CRITERIAS ARE TO BE FULFILLED FOR THE DESIGN TOPIC

AS PER THE STUDY FROM THE CASE STUDIES REGARDING THE THESIS TOPIC ‘DRUG DE-ADDICTION AND
REHABILITATION CENTER’ THE INFERENCES/ CRITERIAS FOR SITE SELECTION SHOULD BE AS FOLLOWS

 SITE AREA SHOULD BE SIX ACRES AS PER DESIGN BRIEF


 SITE SHOULD BE AT THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE CITY AREA, AWAY FROM HUSTLE-BUSTLE OF THE CITY
CHAOS
 HOSPITAL SHOULD BE IN THE VICINTIY OF THE SELECTED SITE AREA, SO IF THE PATIENT GETS
SERIOUS DURING DE-TOXIFICATION, HE/ SHE CAN BE RUSHED TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL
 SITE SHOULD BE EASLY ACCESSIBLE FROM CITY AREAS SO THAT THE NEW PAITENTS, OR THEIR
FAMILY MEMBERS CAN ACCESS THE SITE CONVENIENTLY
 SITES TOPOGRAPHY CAN BE A CONTOURED LAND OR A FLAT LAND
