CHAPTER IV
PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA
This chapter discusses the data analysis and findings from 40 questionnaires
completed by Grade 9 Sea Stars in ICHNS Tambacan Annex. The purpose of this study
was to identify the significance of having a cellphone for academic purposes.
Questionnaires were given to Grade 9 Sea Stars aged 12-17 years of old from
different. After listening the consent form indicating their willingness to participate in the
study, these Grade 9 Sea Stars students completed the questionnaires.
A total of fifty eight (58) Grade 9 Sea stars students completed questionnaires
The results are interpreted by the following scale;

specially when its related to their specialize subjects. There are plenty of negative effects of not
36
having a personal computer and most of the information technology students on Iligan Computer
Institute (ICI) don’t have personal computer.
Recommendation
Base on the conclusion drawn, the following are the recommendations.
1.) The specialized teacher must consider that most of the students can’t submit the
activities in just a short period of time specially when it is a big project. They must give
enough time base on the activity and skills of the students.
2.) For those students who doesn’t have personal computer must have a double
attention on the given task so that they can easily catch up and make their activities on
time.
3.) For the future researchers, who will have the advantage to continue this study
and to make this as one of their resources in making their research. They have the benefit
to continue what the present researchers had started.

We, the researchers would like to dedicate this work to our family, friends, co- classmates,
& co-students, we also thank Mr. Mark Caesar Ian Salas for guiding us in these research and to
our beloved teacher Ms. Princess Marie D. Olis for guiding and helping us to finish this study.
Thank you also to all advisers giving their permission to conduct our survey under his/her
advisory.
We also dedicate this dissertation to our many friends and co-researcher who have
supported this throughout the process. We researchers always appreciate all of this.
Most importantly, the last but not the least our key, inspiration co-seniors participants of
Grade 12 Information technology strand to their free expensive time to spend in answering the
following given question with truly perception about on their tracks.
We dedicate this and give special thanks to our god who have been our inspiration and
have been our best cheerleader.
