LETTER OF APPOINTMENT
Following your recent interview, we now offer you appointment as Health, Safety and Environment
Manager effective from March 2nd, 2015, under the following conditions:
Your duties are as follows:

 Direct the resources and activities of the company to support the HSE programs by providing
advice and guidance to the Company Senior Management.
 Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the
company to create a culture that prioritize effective HSE and balance overall association costs
Review internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct
hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendation for these
assessments.
 Serve as the Company’s expert within the field of HSE when called upon to address regulatory
agency compliance issues, third party safety and liability consultants and subcontractor
representatives.
 Responsible for the staffing and directing the company’s HSE Department, including the
management of all Field Safety Managers and staff.
 Responsible for the development of an annual budget recommendation and implementation.
Provide regular written reports as well as other production-related results and updates to the
Senior Management Term.
 Assist project team in investigation of project incidents (GL/WC/Recordable Incidents, Near Miss
and First Aid) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted. Assist in implementation
of correct actions as it relate to the incident and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated
throughout the company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary Devise ,supervise
and coordinate training programs or media which will increase proficiency in safe practices and
promote HSE consciousness.
 Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings across company locations to review HSE
performance and policies.
 Address specific reporting and record keeping requirements of OSHA,EPA,etc. as well as other
pertinent safety/regulatory compliance matters and to ensure project sites are in compliance
Oversight of Company’s HSE incentive programs and periodically review them to ensure they are
accomplishing the desired results. Make necessary changes to the program to maximize effect.
Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position.
 Assist with and participate in sales presentations.
 Conduct site visits/audits.
 Participate /attend industry related conferences when requested to do so.
 The first six months of your appointment are probationary
 If at the end of your probationary period, your work and conduct are considered satisfactory your
appointment would be confirmed and you will be made a permanent staff.
If you accept the terms and conditions of this offer, you are required o sign a copy of this letter
and return same to the undersigned along with two copies of your most recent passport
photographs.
