Lotus Solar Energies is a solar based company created by socially responsible young Engineers
who want to make their business for a good cause of the society. We do service in various segments
of the solar industry, refer the Products and services section. As our objects are listed below, profit
making is the least objective of our company, which makes us unique from other solar companies
and helps us bring down the cost to customers so that Solar is affordable to all.
Lotus Solar Energies, with a strong focus on renewable energy. Today, Company has highly
qualified work force in every discipline of project design and execution, having 5+ years’ experience
in the respective field of DC plant, Substation & Switchgears, Civil and foundation works, Structural
work and Electrical work. The Company provides turnkey solar energy solutions starting from
concepts to commissioning, Operation & maintenance services and post commissioning technical
audits for ground mounted, rooftop, Off-grid solar power plants and systems.

In a short duration, the Company has demonstrated strong technical capability with portfolio of 36
plus MWp and completed large number of ground mounted and Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic power
plants. These plants stand apart in terms of superior design, quality, reliable equipment and
consistent performance generation. Projects of equal size are under pipe line. The Company also
provided comprehensive O & M services for projects. These projects have been executed, all for
highly reputed companies who themselves have strong technological background and have high
standards of quality and performance.

With Registered office at Salem, Corporate office at Chennai and other branch offices and projects,
the Company has foot-print in Karnataka

Technology:

Lotus Solar Energies offers high efficiency modules with vast range of technologies to choose
from products of tier-1 manufacturers. The company assisted it esteemed clients to select right
technology of the Solar PV Modules depending on the location and application. The Company
offers most efficient, popular and experienced Crystalline Silicon modules. These PV modules
are tested and certified as per the Indian and International standards.

High efficiency and reliable String and Central Inverters are offered from reputed leading
Companies having local service network.

Lotus Solar Energies will provide a Monitoring system for the Plant providing live on-site /
remote monitoring of the generation, irradiation and other parameters.

4. SCOPE OF THIS PROPOSAL:

EPC Solar plant:

The scope of work of EPC execution includes – Design, Engineering, Procurement, Quality
Assurance and Testing at manufacturer’s works, packing, forwarding, supply, transportation,
delivery at site, unloading, handling and storage at Site, insurance towards transit risk, intra-site
transportation of equipment and installation & commissioning including civil works, electrical
works and testing of the Project in accordance with the technical specifications. The solar plant
complete with solar modules, inverters, balance of plant and the civil works will be delivered in
terms of this offer. The power will be fed in nearest substation.
5. COMMERCIAL PROPOSAL:

Price: The price for design, engineering, supply, installation & commissioning, civil works (EPC)
of the 100MW Solar PV plant is Rs. 5,00,00,00,000 (Rupees Five Hundered Crores only).

EPC execution and O&M services are exclusive of applicable taxes and duties.

Dollar rate is pegged at Rs. 74.45. Any fluctuation in the forex rate will impact the quoted price.

6. TAXES & DUTIES:

The offered prices Included in to account the applicable taxes and duties which will be
charged on actual basis from the owner if any changes.

7. TERMS OF PAYMENT:

EPC of the Plant.

a) 50% of the contract price as Initial interest free Advance along with Work order
b) 25% Supply of materials.
c) 25% of the contract price, immediately after commissioning.

Mode of Payment: Apart from initial advance against contract, all other payments will be released
by the Client to us against Demand Draft/Transfers before dispatch of equipment.

COMPLETION PERIOD:

The activities like engineering, procurement, transportation, construction, erection,

commissioning and the testing will be so organized to achieve the commissioning of the
plant in short time. The commissioning will be achieved in 365 Days from the Zero date.

Zero date: work on the project shall commence upon

i) Release of Order and its Acceptance
ii) Receipt of advance payment
iii) Hassle free site will be provided with 7*24 hours access for the contractor, his employees
and the sub-contractor
9. WARRANTY PERIOD:

Module power output warranty: The peak power output of the solar modules will not be below
90% at the end of 10 year of commissioning and it will not be below 80% at the end of 25 years.

The Plant and Machinery is warranted against any defect in design, material and workmanship.
The Company stands committed to repair/replace any defective part(s), at the earliest, free of
charge to the Client, if defect occurs and reported to us within the warranty period. The
warranty period for the solar modules is 5 years. For the other equipment and Plant, the
warranty period will be 12 months.

The extended warranty offered by the OEMs will be endorsed to the Client.

The Warranty obligations shall not be applicable i) in case of normal wear and tear during
operation, ii) if equipment has been handled by Clients’ representative or by unauthorized
person and iii) defects occurring due to operation practices not in line with our instructions or
the normal industry practices and iv) damaged stroke defect in the solar installation arising due
to any defect in the site.

10. QUALITY ASSURANCE:

The Contractor shall use effective quality assurance programs throughout the performance of
the Works in accordance with the terms of his Quality Assurance System. This may undergo
changes from time to time based on the requirement with mutual consent).

12. CONFIDENTIALITY:

The information shared through this offer is Confidential and should not be shared with
competitors, other developers. The Recipient will use at least the same degree of care to avoid
unauthorised disclosure or use of the Confidential Information as it employs with respect to its
own Confidential Information of like importance, but no less than a reasonable degree of care.
The Recipient will neither directly nor indirectly make available to any third party by
disclosing, transferring, or providing information contained hereunder, nor use such
Confidential Items for any purpose, without the prior written consent.
