1. Check against approved electrical shop


drawings.
Pre-Installation 2. Check if the sleeve level and thickness of the
pipes are as per approved shop drawings. Seal
all sleeves as per specification.
3. Check if sizes of the earthing wires are as per
the approved shop drawing.
4. Check cable trays, trunking, and equipment
Equipotential bonded as per project
specification.
5. Check if locations and sizes of earth bar are as
specification and approved shop drawings.

6. Check if that earthing wire(s) is connected to


equipment as per shop drawing in proper way.
Installation
7. Check the level & location of earth pit as per
approved shop drawings.
8. Check if earth pit fixing is as specification
and approved shop drawings.

9. Check the connection(s) of earthing wire to


earthing rod electrode.

10. The resistance of the earth shall be less than


2Ω or as per local regulation.
