MESSAGE
(Greetings)
It is a joyous occasion, perhaps even celebratory, to be able to welcome change.
The leadership of PLTCOL ARNEL M SOLIS as force commander of the First
Negros Occidental PMFC for the last months has proved to be a journey
bemedalled with accomplishments. Through his efforts, various notorious wanted
persons were neutralized. His leadership has also gained the support of various
private and public sectors alike whose trust and confidence are vital to the
successes of the thrusts of the entire PNP organization.
However, to achieve and reach even greater limits, one must not confine himself
to the comfort and luxury of familiarity. PLTCOL Solis is a man of vision and has
unquestionable dedication for public service, for the past month, he has been
occupying two positions, as my Deputy for Operations and as Force
Commander of 1st NOCPMFC. A feat that is quite exhaustive but one he
managed to exemplary fulfill.
Now, we heartily welcome PLTCOL NAZER P CANJA. He is a man of character,
of unquestionable work ethic and discipline. I strongly believe that the
accomplishment and leadership of PLTCOL Solis shall be maintained, if not
surpassed, by PLTCOL Canja.
Like I have said, today we welcome change. That is however a change only in
leadership, not in the quality of service. These two officers have proven
themselves worthy to be placed under such responsibility. Like all others, a
change in leadership will only produce quality output, if the men and women
behind the entire 1st NOCPMFC render the same support and zealous service
they have accorded the outgoing Officer. Hence, I remind all of you to respect
the Office regardless of the person occupying the same. Let us remember that
the PNP is more than just a mere organization, it is a community of able-bodied
men and women who aspire the same dream: a progressive Philippines which is
safe and secure to live, work and do business. We have to work together. Be
each other's keeper and stay committed to the oath we made: our loyalty to the
Filipino people.
To PLTCOL Solis, thank you for holding the line and assuming both positions.
Now you can place your mind at ease that you will only have to worry about
NOCPPO's operations. To which, I will assume, that you will continue to intensify
our campaign againstall forms of illegality.
To PLTCOL Canja, welcome to 1st Negros Occidental PMFC. I look forward to
what the future holds for both Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and 1st
Negros Occidental PMFC. May we find good grounds to stay committed in
keeping Negros Occidental safe.
Good day and stay safe everyone. Thank you.
