ELIMINATION INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

1 Pre-assemble the fastening and label them with the corresponding
number.
2 The position of the individual fastenings including holes for anchor
bolts have to be marked.
3 Insert the anchor bolts
4 Install the fastening

No: INSTALLATION OF BUSBAR AND SLEEVE


1 Install first the bus bar
2 Use a pulleys and clamps at several points to support the bus bar.
3 Pull the rubber below and the centering ring with chamfer inwards
over the bus bar
4 Remove dust cover from sleeve
5 Pull the sleeve carefully over the bus bar and protect with clean
cloth from dust.
6 The cord should be placed on the open side.
7 The earthing lug should be facing down in mounted in horizontal
position.
8 Pull the high voltage spring towards the flat pad on the bus bar.
9 Install second bus bar
10 Use a pulleys and clamps at several points to support the bus bar
11 Pull the rubber below and the centering ring with chamfer inwards
over the bus bar
Remove dust cover from sleeve
12 Pull the sleeve carefully over the bus bar and protect with clean
cloth from dust
13 The cord should be placed on the open side
14 The earthing lug should be facing down in mounted in horizontal
position.
15 Pull the high voltage spring towards the flat pad on the bus bar.
16 Clean contact surface carefully with a 3M scotch or polish roll
17 Remove metal dust with a clean cloth
18 Grease the clean contact surface immediately with a thin layer of
contact grease
19 Mount the screw head, washer and flat pad contact from behind.

20 With the contact discs mount the screw head, washer, band, flat pad
contact disc, band, washer, spring and nut.
21 Tighten screwing with torques wrench 75Nm and wait for
20minutes and recheck tighten torque.
22 Pulled out the spring of the cylinder by the fixed cord and attached
to the flat pad of the opposite bus bar.
23 Fix the spring with a M5 screw and washers
24 Fix the flex also with a with a M5 screw and the washer.
25 Earthed on the copper ring with an earthing clamp.
26 Torque the earthing clamp screw 16Nm.
27 Pull sleeve over the high voltage connection to its center position
and mount with centering rings.
No: CLOSING THE SLEEVES
1 Check if all bus bars are in the final position
2 Check if the high voltage spring inside the sleeve is connected
3 Check the earthing of the bus bar inside the sleeve
4 Clean the area where the electrical field is controlled with clean
textile cloth
5 Open the vacuum packaging of the desiccant bags and put them in
the sleeve between centering the rubber below
6 Close the sleeve with the rubber bellows on both sides and torque
the clamps 45Nm
EARTHING OF THE SLEEVE
1 Clean earthing lug with a 3M scotch – brite pad
2 Remove metal dust with a clean cloth
3 Grease the contact area immediately with a thin layer of contact
grease
4 Connect maximum two cable lugs per screw- one on each side of
the lug.
