Introduction
Safety signs significant used are to:

 Draw attention to health and safety


hazards.
 To point out hazards that may not be
obvious.
 To provide general information and
directions.
 To remind employees where personal
protection equipment must be worn.
 To show where emergency equipment is
located.
 To indicate where certain actions are
prohibited.

Introduction
The safety signs should have these elements:
 Attract a person’s attention.
 Clearly identify the nature hazard.
 Can specify the immediate action required.
 Be posted in a place that provides enough
time for a person to read the sign and act
accordingly.

 A good signage is when a people around that
can acknowledge and follow it.
 When employees are aware of the hazards
around them and take necessary precautions,
the possibilities of an injury, illness or other loss
is minimize.
