ProAct™ P-Series Position Controller

Electric Actuators with Integral Driver

Applications
 Extremely fast,
The ProAct™ P-Series Position bi-directional
Controller is a family of electric actuator,
actuators intended to be electronically

The actuators are designed to be base- or flange-mounted (Model IV is base-

PWM position command signals and can be configured with a primary and backup  Single or

backup logic. A five-point curve function provides a means to linearize the actuator's
output. The actuator monitors all available internal and external signals, and command signals

End User I/O Description

Power Input 18–32 Vdc with out-of-range diagnostics
PWM: 8.4–32 V, 300 to 2000 Hz
Command Input Analog: 0–25 mA, or 0–5 Vdc
CAN
Position Feedback Output 0–25 mA
Low Power standby mode
Discrete Inputs
Four CAN address combinations
Normally “ON” turns “OFF” to indicate a detected fault.
Discrete Output The logic can be reversed so it turns "ON" for a fault, or
the function can be turned off completely.
RS-232 Serial Communications For connection to PC Service Tool
Complies with SAE J1939 but uses proprietary group
extensions. Supports position command signal and
