Read the short story “Cody the Spider”. Underline the two-

Cody the Spider
Cody the spider and Janie the tiger lived among the clovers.
Cody the spider liked to yodel. Janie the tiger liked the silence.
Janie asked Cody to do her a favor. She asked him to only yodel
when he was laboring at work. She wanted to enjoy the clover in
silence. Cody thought it over and decided to reject her request. He
did not like the silence. Together, they agreed to play soft music.
This made them both happy.
Questions:
What is the story about?
Where did the story happen?
Who are the characters in the story?
You earn 2 magic tickets for this game. This ends our module
and I hope you enjoyed our games together.
POINTS TO PONDER
Dividing words into parts, or “chunks” helps speed the process
of decoding. Knowing the rules for syllable helps you read words
more accurately and fluently.
Two- syllable words are words that, when spoken, have two
definite sounds. To easily syllabicate 2-syllable words, you need to
clap or tap out the syllables first. Focus on each syllable separately
and say the word more than once.
Congratulations for finishing this module, see you again soon!
