III. Rationale:

The Brigada Eskwela Program serves a fundamental function to prepare the school and its facilities for
the opening of classes. Basic activities such as cleaning, repairing, and repainting are always taken into
consideration. However, Brigada Eskwela in the new normal is not confined with the traditional Brigada
activities due to restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year`s Brigada highlights on information campaign and strengthening partnership engagements
that complement DepEd`s efforts to implement the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) and to
ensure basic quality education along with the promotion of Brigada Pagbasa to reinforce literacy and
numeracy through the help of partners and volunteers. The theme “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan” significantly
asserts collaboration and unity amid the challenges in these trying times. Hence, individual efforts and
support are paramount to help achieve our common goal---deliver quality services to our clientele.

With this, the school designs its program and activities anchored on the abovementioned purposes
particularly fostering literacy and numeracy and strengthening partnerships to help the school in its race to
delivering quality services amid the challenges in education. Further, the school Brigada activities emphasize
on promoting sustainable and safe living, addressing health issues and social issues at home, in school, and
in the community, relative to the new framework. Thus, school`s disinfection, conducting psychological first
aid and debriefing will also be given priority throughout the school Brigada program implementation. 

IV. Objectives:
1. Clean and disinfect school buildings, classrooms, and other school facilities to free from viruses.
2. Engage partners to raise and ensure the availability of materials needed to combat viruses.
3. Conduct reading activities relative to Brigada Pagbasa Program to reinforce literacy and numeracy.
4. Initiate psychological first-aid webinar or other psychological interventions and debriefing; and
5. Orient learners, parents, stakeholders on DepEd`s Learning Continuity Plan (LCP)
