BITUMODE ALPHA -P Anti-Root APP MODIFIED BITUMEN PLASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING MEMBRANEREINFORCED WITH COMPOSITE POLYESTER What is Bitumode? Produced by the Modern Waterproofing Company, Bitumode is a line of polymer-modified bitumen waterproofing membrane of the highest quality. Bitumode is modified by APP and APAO, thus guaranteeing superior performance under various conditions. BITUMODE ALPHA - P Anti-Root is reinforced with heavy weight composite polyester (P) of non- woven polyester armoured with glass fiber filaments which provides high mechanical properties and dimensional stability and is enhanced with the addition of special chemical additive to provide the membrane with Rot-proof features to stop the growth of bacteria over the waterproofing layer USES BITUMODE ALPHA - P Anti-Root can be applied spectficly where resistance features for plant roots are required to stop any possible penetration to the waterproofing layer and stop the growth of bacteria ‘over the waterproofing layer BITUMODE ALPHA -P Anti-root can be applied in: + Lining of flower box + Waterproofing of green area in roofs BITUMODE ALPHA - P Anti-Root can be provided with Mineral Slated Top Surface Finish is as self protected waterproofing layer , the use of this type ‘would be subject to design requirements of the water --proofing system Advantages BITUMODE ALPHA - P Anti-Root has been designed with special regard to providing clients with an excellent and versatile product. Advantages of BITUMODE ALPHA - P Ar include: Resistant to penetration of plant roots + Rot - proof + Resistant to soil chemicals and salts up to certain limits + Easy to apply (by torch) + High mechanical properties + Absolute impermeability to water + Superb low temperature performance up to -15°C © a + Excellent high temperature performance + Excellent adhesion on any surface + High dimensional stability + Environmentally friendly Quality Control ‘The Modem Waterproofing Company is ISO 9001 certified. It applies a stringent quality control system utilizing its in-house laboratory. Occasional samples are analyzed by independent laboratories to ensure continued adherence to the highest standards (ASTM, EN, DIN, UNI, etc.) Each roll of Bitumode is individually coded with a label containing all necessary information about the roll. This is intended to ensure tractability in accordance with ISO control standards. Certification: This product is certified from the Egyptian government being in compliance with the quality mark of (EOS) and exceeding the specs of ASTM D 6222/2000 Product Range Standard thickness available includes 4mm Bottom surface finish is normally Polyethylene Film (PE). Upper surface finish choices include: + Polyethylene Film (PE) + Fine Sand (S) + Mineral Slated Grey (GY) for self protect membrane Slated rolls are available in 4kg, 4.5kg and 5kg per square meter.
