NCP CASE PRES Activity Intolerance

A post-operative patient was experiencing difficulty turning and generalized weakness after cholecystectomy surgery. The nurse's interventions included monitoring vitals, providing rest, adjusting activities, and encouraging participation in a conditioning program. The objectives were for the patient to understand activity limitations after 1 hour, and be able to participate in conditioning after 4 hours to enhance ability to perform activities. The interventions were effective as evaluated by the patient's understanding and improved activity tolerance.
