I. Introduction
Statement
Community Needs Assessments aims to collect accurate data that reflects a
community's needs. Prior to taking action, assessments are conducted to ascertain
present conditions and identify concerns that need to be addressed. Assessments of
needs lay the groundwork for important planning.
A community needs assessment analyzes the community's strengths and resources for
meeting the needs of children, youth, and families. The evaluation focuses on the
community's capacities, including its residents, agencies, and organizations.
The Community Needs Assessment aims to analyze the geographical profile and
demographic data of the respondents. The goal is to identify the community issues and
environmental problems as well as the health concerns in the community.

This can help mobilize a community to action by identifying and matching community
members' abilities with organizational resources. A community assessment can be used
to accomplish the following:
➢ Create an action plan for the coalition.
➢ Define the program or intervention's goals.
➢ Establish a baseline for measuring community improvement.
➢ Choose the strategies that will be used in a program or intervention.
➢ Discover new ideas, tactics, partners, and resources that can be applied to achieving
a common objective.

Objectives
1. Determine the purpose and scope of the assessment.
➢ Decide whether the assessment will focus on a specific population within the
community versus the community at large.
➢ Decide which health topics to prioritize, limiting the scope of the assessment to
what can reasonably be accomplished.
2. Define the goals and objectives of the assessment.
3. Select data collection methods to use.
➢ Find out whether the desired information exists or if a new data collection effort is
needed.
➢ Common methods for new data collection include surveys, interviews, focus groups
and observation.

4. Select or design the necessary instruments and procedures for data collection.
➢ Look for valid and reliable instruments that have been tested in similar communities
with similar populations. It is much easier and less costly to adapt an existing
instrument than to create one from scratch.
5. Pilot test the instruments and procedures.
6. Prepare a timeline and budget.
7. Collect the data.
8. Analyze the data.
9. Prepare and disseminate a report of the findings.
10. Evaluate the assessment's merit and worth.
➢ Consider what worked well, what problems were encountered and what could have
been done better.

Importance
CNA is important because it can assist you in figuring out what needs to be
done to meet your project's objectives. This needs assessment, then informs the overall
plan and tactics for a project by assisting you in identifying targeted strategies and
prioritizing resources.
It identifies the community's strengths and resources for meeting the needs of children,
teenagers, adults and families. The evaluation focuses on the community's capacities,
including residents, agencies, and organizations.

II. Methodology
Time and Place
The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) is the place selected to be
evaluated, Particularly the students from Information Systems CIS105.
Sampling Procedure
The study that is used is the convenience sampling, since it relies on data
collection from population members who are conveniently presented to participate in
the study. Out of the entire population of 1071 KLD students, 6 of them are designated
as sample size.

Method Analysis
S.W.O.T. Analysis
➢ A SWOT analysis assesses an organization's internal strengths and weaknesses, as
well as external opportunities and threats. Internal analysis identifies resources,
capabilities, core competencies, and competitive advantages by reviewing finance,
management, infrastructure, procurement, production, distribution, marketing,
reputational factors, and innovation using a functional approach. Internal analysis
is essential for determining the source of competitive advantage. It identifies the
resources that must be developed in order to compete. External analysis identifies
market opportunities and threats by examining the environment of competitors, the
industry environment, and the overall environment.

Scope and Limitations
This study is focused on community needs assessment, the participants for
this study are our group members, we created a google form consisting of 14
questions.
The limitations of our study are we weren’t able to conduct our research on a
barangay because of the widespread of the virus, so we make up for it and had an
idea of answering our forms ourselves.

IV. Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation
Summary
The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) is the place selected to be evaluated,
particularly the students from Information Systems CIS105. The goal of Community Needs
Assessments is to collect accurate data that reflects the needs of a community. Assessments
are undertaken prior to taking action to determine current circumstances and identify issues
that need to be solved. Furthermore, the purpose of the Community Needs Assessment is
to examine the respondents' geographic profile and demographic data. The purpose is to
discover community problems and environmental difficulties, as well as community health
concerns.
Lastly, it identifies the strengths and resources available in the community to satisfy
the needs of children, teenagers, adults, and families. Residents, agencies, and
organizations are all included in the review.
Because it is based on data, the study used is convenience sampling. A collection
from members of the population who are easily accessible to engage in the study Six of the
1071 KLD students are recognized as sample size.

With the used of SWOT analysis, it evaluates an organization's corporate strengths
and weaknesses as well as external opportunities and threats. For determining the source
of competitive advantage, internal analysis is critical. External analysis examines the
environment of rivals, the industry environment, and the broader environment to identify
market opportunities and dangers.
The result of the study indicated that based on the participants’ primary dimension
of workforce diversity on age diversity, the overall mean was 4.17 and the overall standard
deviation of 0.70 interpreted as agree. In terms of gender diversity, the overall mean was
4.05 and the overall standard deviation was 0.73 indicated as agree. In ethnicity and race
diversity, the overall mean was 3.66 with the overall standard deviation of 1.72 indicated
as agree. In terms of sexual orientation, the overall mean was 4.04 with the overall standard
deviation of 0.76. In terms of employee performance, task performance overall mean was
4.17 and the overall standard deviation was 0.68 interpreted as agree. In conceptual
performance, the overall mean was 4.10 with the overall standard deviation of 0.73
interpreted as agree and in adaptive performance, the overall mean was 4.15 and the overall
standard deviation was 0.72 interpreted as agree. Lastly, using linear regression analysis,
it was revealed that primary dimension of workforce diversity has a correlation coefficient
of 0.735 and thus interpreted as significant and affect the performance of employees.

Conclusion
Based on the results and discussion of the study, the following conclusions were
drawn:
1. Their well-being and stability are being harmed by community difficulties and
problems.
2. If untreated, unhealthy behavior issues in the community might result in major
consequences.
3. It is dependent on the household earner's ability and interest to achieve a
sufficient household budget.
4. People will be more motivated to engage if they are satisfied with the public
services provided by the community.
5. If the local government supports community activities, the community's needs
will be satisfied.
6. The community's leisure activities will assist in stress relief and physical
activity.

Recommendations
1. When it comes to low-income families, the government should help them by
providing more job options.
2. Develop a comprehensive action plan to address community challenges with
unhealthy behavior.
3. Implementation of new and enhanced social programs in order to pique
people's interest.
4. Because drug misuse is common, additional recovery services should be
available in the community.
5. Develop new community-based social activities or projects that will benefit
the community.
6. Give sufficient resources to combat prominent ailments in the community.
