Force Artificer

The Force Artificer is found across the galaxy, rare individuals singled out among Force traditions that use objects as foci
for their powers. Tapping into the Ashla, Bogan, or sometimes both; they dedicate their lives and shards of their own
being into the imbuing of objects as vessels for the Force. More concerned with the physical aspects of the force than
the spiritual, Force Artificers are often adept at interfacing with objects and technology more than they are with other
individuals, or the world around them.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Force Artificer.

Force Training
The Force Artificer gains a bonus Force Feat at 1st,3rd, and 4th level. This bonus Force feat must be selected from the
following list.
-Alter, Control, or Sense.
Once one of these Force Feats is selected, its associated force skills become class skills for the character.

Bonus Feats
At 2nd, 11th, and 16th level, the Force Artificer gains a bonus feat. This feat must be selected from the following list, and
the Force Artificer must meet any prerequisites.
-Armor Proficiency (Light), Dark Power, Dissipate Energy, Exotic Weapon Proficiency, Force Whirlwind, Gearhead, Kinetic
Might, Psychometry, Skill Emphasis (any Craft skill, or the Enchantment Force skill), or Technical Wizard.

Forgemaster’s Gift
At 6th level the Force Artificer receives either the Ashla Imbuement or Bogan Imbuement feat for free. They must meet
the prerequisites for either feat they select.

Craftsman’s Crucible
Upon reaching 6th level, the Force Artificer has mastered the art of Enchantment to such a degree that they may bond
with a singular specially constructed weapon. This can be any one-handed melee weapon or blaster pistol that the Force
Artificer is proficient with, and that they themselves craft from special materials and parts collected. At the heart of any
such weapon, be it used in pommel ornamentation or as an energy focus, is a kyber crystal.

Once all necessary materials are gathered, the Force Artificer can begin the process of attuning them, a ordeal which
takes some time and the expenditure of a Force Point. To successfully prepare the parts, the Force Artificer must make
three Ability Checks; A Constitution check (for Control) to harmonize the self (DC 20), a Wisdom check (for Sense) to
harmonize the Force (DC 20), and an Intelligence check (for Alter) to harmonize the parts (DC 20). Each day spent in
meditation doing nothing else before making the checks reduces one check’s DC by 1. No check’s DC can be reduced to
less than 10, so spending 30 days in meditation reduces each check’s DC to 10. The checks may be made in any order,
but are all made at the same time. If any check fails, the process must begin again.

If all the checks succeed, the Force Artificer becomes stronger in the Force, receiving 2 Force Points. Finally, the Force
Artificer must make a DC 10 Craft (appropriate weapon skill) check to complete the assembly of the weapon. A Force
Artificer gains a +1 competence bonus on Attack rolls with the weapon they have forged in their Crucible.

As Within, So Without
At 7th level, while wielding the weapon forged by their Craftsman’s Crucible the damage dice of the Force Artificer’s
weapon increases by +1 die (From 3d4 to 4d4, from 3d6 to 4d6, from 3d8 to 4d8, etc). This damage increases by an
additional +1 die again at level 12, and one final time at level 18.

One With the Forge

At levels 8, 11, 14, and 17 the Force Artificer’s cost to Enchant an item with the Enchantment Force Skill is reduced by a
cumulative -1 Force Point, though it cannot be reduced lower than a minimum of 1 Force Point.
