Course Description:
This course provides practical proven tools for transforming an idea into a product or service that
creates value for others. As students acquire these tools, they learn how to sift good ideas from bad,
how to build a winning strategy, how to shape a unique value proposition, prepare a business plan,
compare their innovation to existing solutions, build flexibility into their plan and determine when
best to quit. The course would help them reach creative solutions via an iteration of a virtually end-
less stream of world-changing ideas and strategies, integrating feedback, and learning from failures
along the way. Above all, it would help them understand the magic of thinking BIG. After all, all
unicorns were just an idea whose time had come.
Course Content:
Unit –A: It is all about the mindset
It is all about the mindset:What makes an Entrepreneur different from the rest , what is important
how to do a work or why to do a work, ESBI quadrant model. Common traits of successful individu-
als in different fields.Understanding the power of subconscious mind to achieve BIG.
Unit –B:Understanding the problem in the Market
Cracking the creativity code. Delivery & discovery of ideas, finding the passion of your life. IKIGAI model
to find the purpose of life.
Unit –C Framing business plan
Root cause analysis of a problem. Stages in new product development. How to write a business
plan ?
Unit –D: Understanding Unicorns and some case studies
What is a Unicorn and sharing the success stories of some startups like OYO, Cred, Ola, Flipkart,
SpaceX. , How they were able to achieve it that big? What was that thing that kept them going ? A
journey from an idea to a Unicorn.
Course Outcome:
1. Knowledge Outcome:
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
· Define Entrepreneurship and outline its essence.
· Clearly define the basics of the entrepreneurial spirit like one to‘Be a job creator
rather than a jobseeker’.
· Understanding Creativity, how to have ideas to solve market problems.
· Finding the passion & Purpose of your life.
· Describing how to write a business plan.
· Learning from the masters doing some case studies of startup that became unicorns.
2. Skill Outcome:
· Adapt and develop any entrepreneurial models at any stage of their life.
· Students will become creative.
· Students can present their business idea to investors.
· Students can find what is their passion and can find the purpose of their life
