GRADES 1 To 12 Daily Lesson LOG School: Grade Level: Teacher: Learning Area: Teaching Date and Time: Quarter

The document summarizes a science lesson given by teacher Michael L. Dela Peña to 7th grade students comparing plant and animal cells. The lesson objectives were for students to identify the two types of cells, differentiate plant and animal cells based on the presence or absence of organelles, and appreciate the importance of studying plant and animal cells. Students engaged in group activities including observing slides under microscopes and comparing charts of plant and animal cell structures. The lesson concluded with an assessment to evaluate student understanding.

A. Elicit What are the difference between animal and plant cells?
Before we start on our next topic, I have here in front the two
microscopes with the slides. Now I will call from the students to view the
slide and right after that you will draw in the board that you have
B. Engage observed. Now are you ready class?
Two students view the first microscope and then two students view the
second microscope. The students will draw in the board of what they have
observed.
C. Explore We will have a group activity. All group leaders will get the designated
envelope for your group. Inside the envelopes are different task you need
to accomplish for 10 minutes only.

GROUP 1. The students in this group will do their task:

1. Arrange the picture puzzle.
2. Identify the arrange picture puzzle.
3. Paste your answer on the illustration board.

GROUP 2. The students in this group will do their task.
